So, It's Not Just Telepromptors He Needs
I'm not here to get back on a regular schedule just yet, but I saw this and I had to laugh. I know it won't make a difference to all the in-the-tank-for-Obama-media or all his naive acolytes, but it just goes to show that the Anointed One is human after all and simply can't say or think of anything original, much less unwritten for him.
Never mind the "lipstick on a pig" statement for now (I'll get to that tomorrow)
just take notice of where Obama got-not only the inspiration for the "pig speech" but pretty much the entire last paragraph.
First the speech transcript:
"John McCain says he's about change too, and so I guess his whole angle is, 'Watch out George Bush -- except for economic policy, health care policy, tax policy, education policy, foreign policy and Karl Rove-style politics -- we're really going to shake things up in Washington,'" he said. "That's not change. That's just calling something the same thing something different. You know you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig. You know you can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change, it's still going to stink after eight years. We've had enough of the same old thing."
Now the "inspiration":

Seriously. Are you really still impressed by this guy?

STOP !!
People have been saying 'Lipstick on a pig' for YEARS now .... even DECADES !
You're absolutely right, they have. Everyone from John Mccain, Dick Cheyney, Barack Obama and others. But in Obama's case, he said it a week after Palin used it to describe the difference between Hockey moms and pitbulls, right? Well, Obama should have known better. He should have known that that comment would instantly be seen as a personal slight against her. His audience made that connection immediately. So did I, so did a lot of people.
Phony outrage? Give me a break!
He could at least appologize for it, saying he made a mistake and move on. But, no he blamed the right for it. Nice spin attempt, but try again.
