The Ten Commandments According to Obama

I. Thou shalt have no God in America, except for me. For we are no longer a Christian nation and, after all, I am the chosen One. (And like God, I do not have a birth certificate.)

II. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, unless it is my face carved on Mt. Rushmore.

III. Thou shalt not utter my middle name in vain (or in public). Only I can say Barack Hussein Obama.

IV. Remember tax day, April 15th, to keep it holy.

V. Honor thy father and thy mother until they are too old and sick to care for. They will cost our public-funded health-care system too much money.

VI. Thou shalt not kill, unless you have an unwanted, unborn baby. For it would be an abomination to punish your daughter with a baby.

VII. Thou shalt not commit adultery if you are conservative or a Republican. Liberals and Democrats are hereby forgiven for all of their infidelity and immorality, but the careers of conservatives will be forever destroyed.

VIII. Thou shalt not steal, until you've been elected to public office. Only then is it acceptable to take money from hard-working, successful citizens and give it to those who do not work, illegal immigrants, or those who do not have the motivation to better their own lives.

IX. Thou shalt not discriminate against thy neighbor unless they are conservative, Caucasian, or Christian.

X. Thou shalt not covet because it is simply unnecessary. I will place such a heavy tax burden on those that have achieved the American Dream that, by the end of my term as President, nobody will have any wealth or material goods left for you to covet.

C'mon. Even you lefties out there have to find this funny. I laughed at Family Guy and American Dad when they poked fun at Bush. Have a sense of humor.

Thousands Take to the Streets in Iran in Defiance of Tyranny

The Iranian people want freedom, especially the young that easily see through President Ahmedinejad and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his mullahs.

I and many others have been saying this for the last few years. It has been quite obvious to everyone, I would think. The youth of Iran want freedom. They want their discotheques, they want their unregulated internet, among a host of other freedoms and privileges we in the West have and probably take for granted. One thing's for sure, it's going to get a lot worse before it gets better.

Ahmadinejad Threatens West Yet Again

Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has once again threatened the West, which includes Israel (who are preparing for such an eventuality) who he calls the "global arrogance," by saying, " ...I have told the enemies ... that this nation ... will strike you in the face so hard you will lose your way home."

How can anybody think this guy is not a real threat? Even if he doesn't have, or will not get nuclear weapons (which is just a matter of a short amount of time) just his demeanour and pose should be enough to take him as such. President Obama has said he will not stand by and allow or tolerate Iran to secure these weapons of mass destruction. Let's hope so. This crackpot is not fooling around. Now, it may all be just political posturing, but with all that Iran has been (allegedly) involved in (such as supplying IEDs to Iraqi and Afghani insurgents, the 1979 hostage crisis, taking British sailors hostage and a plethora of threats and admonishments toward the west, especially the U.S.) how can the West not consider him a threatening, looming enemy? He is not a nice guy, regardless of what Mike Wallace may have you believe.

Walter Cronkite Dies

This man was the best. Now I feel kind of bad chastising him awhile back. But he was "The Most Trusted Man in America," a consummate professional and simply the best. There are none like him left and I doubt very highly we will his kind again.

Of course, I wasn't around for his coverage of the moon landing (did you see the pride on his face and excitement as he rubbed his hands together? Watch it on the tribute video below) or his historic announcement of the death of President Kennedy (as his his voice cracked when he did, I believe the only time he wavered in his stoic professional career) as well as the assassinations of Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy.

President Lyndon Johnson knew he had lost the support of the American people over the Vietnam War when after a Cronkite report from the field, when he stated, "If I've lost Cronkite, I've lost America."

It would be nice if today's "journalists" had Cronkite's integrity, class and professionalism. You just know he had to be shuddering at today's bias and the inserting of opinion into the news. As the article says, this man personified television journalism.

Rest in peace, Walter. God's speed. You will be missed.

Jackie Mason and PDS

The great Jackie Mason and his take on Palin Derangement Syndrome. It had to fall on somebody since that "Blame Bush" well has to dry up sometime.

Don't you just love him?

Oh wait. Maybe I shouldn't have posted this since it's an embedded video and not really "mine." Good God.

Obama v.s. Obama

The flipping and dishonesty of President Obama on the economy. He said it, folks:

More $$$$ Down the Drain

One Giant Leap for Mankind

Forty years ago this Monday, the 20th, Neil Armstrong and "Buzz" Aldrin stepped onto the lunar surface and Armstrong uttered the historic words, "It's one small step for man. One giant leap for mankind." We haven't been back since. But we've also moved so much forward.

Intolerant, Bias CNN Reporter Out at Network

Remember her? The Obama-loving, citizen-hating "journalist" from CNN that openly chastised Americans that the left so callously refer to as "tea-baggers?"
Well, she's gone when her contract expires. Oh, not to worry. All bets are on her landing at MSNBC. Why? Well as Hot Air's Allahpundit said, "She’s openly contemptuous of conservatives; she eagerly recycles Obama talking points; and she uses “Fox” as if it’s some type of invective."

Most Open and Transparent Congress Ever..,Yeeah

Yeah, right. What happened to the openness and honesty? What happened to the most transparent Congress ever? Those bad, bad Republicans were so dishonest and power-hungry. It's a good thing the U.S. Congress is now in the hands of the most ethical politicians in the nation's history. Don't you feel so much safer and more proud to be an American with these people at the helm? They're so tolerant...when they're not being such tyrants.

However, there are some Democrats that don't like the under-handedness either:
From the usually suspect AP:

"In their zeal to protect their members from politically hazardous votes on issues such as gay marriage and gun control, Democrats running the House of Representatives are taking extraordinary steps to muzzle Republicans in this summer’s debates on spending bills. …
The tradition has often meant laborious debates. But it has allowed lawmakers with little seniority to have their say on doling out the one-third of the federal budget passed by Congress each year. It was a right the Democrats zealously defended when they were the minority party from 1995 through 2006.
House Appropriations Committee Chairman David Obey, D-Wis., insists the clampdown is to prevent debates from dragging on and on. Republicans, however, have agreed to limit the amount of time debating the bills.
Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., acknowledged in a brief interview that one reason for restricting amendments is to save members of his party from having to cast politically painful votes. …
Even some Democrats are chafing at the heavy-handed clampdown on debate. Abortion opponent Rep. Bart Stupak, D-Mich., on Thursday lashed out at his party’s leaders for denying him and others a chance to vote on restoring a long-standing directive by Congress blocking taxpayer-funded abortions in Washington, D.C."

Barbara Boxer...Racist?

When I heard the soundbite of this on Hugh Hewitt's radio show yesterday afternoon, I knew this was going to make the rounds and expose Senator Boxer as the partisan (and now racist?) hack that she is. She claimed to be showing the "diversity" of groups that supported Mr. Alford and his energy policies. Instead of simply advocating the science of the reports of Alford, Boxer went out of her way to expose her inner racism and wave around those position papers from the NAACP and 100 Black Men of Atlanta to name but two.

What does the NAACP have to do with the National Black Chamber of Commerce? Or more importantly, enrgy consumption? Apparently the senator thinks there's some sort of connection between the two. I guess she thought Alford would jump up and sing her praises and welcome her with open arms into the black community. "She truly is one of us! She knows our pain!" Well, Mr. Alford pretty much put the kabosh on that. This again shows just how much the Democrats really don't respect the black community, but use tactics like this to try and show their "liberalism" and "diversity" that nobody is buying into. Well, at least not those who have seen this before and know what Dems like Boxer are up to.

Don't you just love it when white politicians, from either side of the isle, propourt to know what's best for black people, then embarrass themselves when those same black people throw back in their face? This was simply priceless.

Here is a partial transcript:

Boxer was speaking to panelist Harry C. Alford, the president & CEO of the National Black Chamber of Commerce.
They first started talking about where he lived, which led to Boxer telling him, "Let me talk to you, this is friendly."
Boxer then quoted a NAACP resolution that passed and put it in the record.

Alford: "What does that mean?"

Boxer: "Sir, we're going to put that in the record..."

Alford: "What does that mean, though? The NAACP has a resolution, what does that mean?"

Boxer: "Sir, they could say the same thing about what do you mean..."

Alford: "I've got documentation."

Boxer: "Sir, they passed it. They passed it. Now, also, if that isn't interesting you to we'll quote John Grant, who is the CEO of 100 Black Men of Atlanta." [She goes on to read quote.]

Alford: "Madam Chair, that is condescending to me. I'm the National Black Chamber of Commerce and you're trying to put up some other black group to pit against me."

Boxer: "If this gentlemen were here he would be proud that he was being quoted."

Alford: "He should have been invited!"

Boxer: "...just as he would be proud.." Alford: "It is condescending to me."

Boxer: "...he's proud, I'm sure, that I am quoting him."

Alford: "All that's condescending, and I don't like it. It's racial. I don't like it. I take offense to it. As an African-American and a veteran of this country, I take offense to that!"

Boxer: "... offense at the fact that I would quote ...?"

Alford: "You're quoting some other black man. Why don't you quote some other Asian ... or ... you are being racial here. And I think you're getting to a path here that's going to explode."

Boxer reviews what she had been doing and then mentions that "there is definitely differing opinions in the black community. Just as there are in my community."

Alford: "You're speaking on behalf of the black community?"

Boxer: "No. I am putting in the record a statement by the NAACP."

Alford: "Why?"

Boxer: "Because I think it is quite relevant."

Alford: "... Why are you doing the Colored People Association study with the Black Chamber of Commerce?"

Boxer: "I am trying to show the diversity of support that we have."

Alford: "Diversity?"

Boxer: "And I will go ahead and do one more diversity of support..."

Eventually Alford declares, "We are referring to the experts regardless of their color. And for someone to tell me, an African-American, college-educated veteran of the United States Army that I must contend with some other black group and put aside everything else in here -- this has nothing to do with the NAACP and really has nothing to do with the National Black Chamber of Commerce. We're talking energy and that road the chair went down, I think, is God-awful."

God awful.

Obama Rewrites History Yet Again

Maybe he should apologize to Americans instead of all her enemies.
What is with this guy? even Jimmy Carter didn't go this far...while in office, at least.

Newsflash Mr. President; they're not going to like you or America any more, better or different.

Don Rickles on the Democrats

Along the post of Bob Hope calling the Democrats "zombies," this is another take from one of Hollywood's old guard. Which goes to show how the left-wing elitists would love to make you forget about how old Hollywood (the better, common sense Hollywood) were conservative and cared about their country. That's why the image of John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, Robert Mitchum and the like are desperately trying to be erased from the memories of today's masses. When they have all died off, today's liberals will continue to take liberties with history and their legacies. They have already succeeded in many parts of Americana.

Some of this may seem "hateful," but this is Rickles style. A true master of the celebrity roast:

DON RICKLES ON DEMOCRATS

I hope that offense which might not be intended is taken.....Ha!
Only Don Rickles could get away with saying this stuff, but it is
funny.

Hello, dummies! Oh my God, look at you. Anyone else hurt in the
accident?

Seriously, Senator Reid has a face of a Saint - A Saint Bernard.
Now I know why they call you the arithmetic man. You add
partisanship, subtract pleasure, divide attention, and multiply
ignorance. Reid is so physically unimposing, he makes Pee Wee Herman
look like Mr. T. And Reid's so dumb, he makes Speaker Pelosi look
like an intellectual. Nevada is soooo screwed! If I were less
polite, I'd say Reid makes Kevin Federline look successful.

Speaking of the Speaker... Nancy Pelosi, hubba, hubba! Hey baby,
you must've been something before electricity. Seriously, the
Speaker may look like an idiot and talk like an idiot but don't let
that fool you. She really is an idiot. Madame Speaker... want to
make twelve bucks the hard way? Pelosi says she's not partisan, but
her constituents call her Madame Pelossilini.

Charlie Rangel... still alive and still robbing the taxpayers
blind. What does that make, six decades of theft? Rangel's the only
man with a rent-controlled mansion. He's the guy who writes our tax
laws but forgot to pay taxes on $75 grand in rental income! So why
isn't he the Treasury Secretary? Rangel runs more scams than a
Nigerian Banker.

Barney Frank - he's a better actor than Fred Flintstone.
Consider... he and Dodd caused the whole financial meltdown and
they're not only not serving time with Bubba and Rodney, they're
still heading up the financial system! Let's all admit it... Barney
Frank slobbers more than a sheepdog on novocain. How did this guy
get elected? Oh, that's right... he's from Massachusetts . That's
the state that elects Mr. Charisma, John Kerry -- man of the people!

You know, if Senator Dodd were any more crooked, you could open
wine bottles with him. Here's a news flash, Dodd: when your local
newspaper calls you a "lying weasel", it may be time to retire.
Dodd's involved in more shady deals than the Clintons . Even Rangel
looks up to him!

Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, I really respect you... especially
given your upbringing. All you've overcome... I heard your birth
certificate is an apology from the condom factory. I don't know what
makes you so dumb, but it really works for you. Personally, I don't
think you're a fool, but what's my opinion compared to that of
thousands of others? Gibbs does his best expositional work in the
bathroom every morning.

As for President Obama, what can I say? They say President Obama's
arrogant and aloof, but I don't agree. Now it's true when you enter
the room, you have to kiss his ring. I don't mind, but he has it in
his back pocket. His mind is open to new ideas -- so open that ideas
simply pass through it. Obama lies so much, I was actually surprised
to find out his first name really was Barack. Just don't ask about
his middle name! But Obama was able to set a record... he actually
lied more in 60 days than Bill Clinton. As far as his administration
-- what with the tax cheat and lobbyists -- well, in the words of
Patches O'Houlihan, "It's like watching a bunch of retards trying to
hump a doorknob out there."

FOR THOSE THAT VOTED FOR "HOPE AND CHANGE"... BEND OVER AND PREPARE TO RECEIVE YOUR BOUNTY.

Remembering Better Days

Remember how good you felt about America and being an American when this guy was President?? Read these and remember:

"Here is my strategy on the Cold War; we win, they lose."

"The most terrifying words in the English language: I'm from the government and I'm here to help."

"The trouble with our liberal friends isn't that they're ignorant; it's just that they know so much that isn't so."

"Of the four wars in my lifetime, none of them came about because the U.S. was too strong."

"I have wondered at times about what the Ten Commandments would have looked like if Moses had run them through the U.S. Congress."

"The taxpayer: That's someone who works for the federal government but doesn't have to take the civil service examination."

"Government is like a baby: An alimentary canal with a big appetite at one end and no sense of responsibility at the other."

"The nearest thing to eternal life we will ever see on this earth is a government program."

"It's been said that politics is the second oldest profession. I have learned that it bears a striking resemblance to the first."

"Governments view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it."

"Politics is not a bad profession. If you succeed, there are many rewards; if you disgrace yourself, you can always write a book."

"No arsenal, or no weapon in the arsenals of the world is as formidable as the will and moral courage of free men and women."

"If we ever forget that we're one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under."

Camille Paglia's Take on Palin Resignation

H/T to Adrienne at Sarah Palin-2012

A good couple of articles. First from Salon's Camille Paglia and J.R Dunn from American Thinker. Why don't you Sarah haters just read something for once (other than the hate-filled Huffington Post and Daily Kos-or for that matter the New York Times) and learn. Just for once, sit back and read with an unbiased eye. Maybe you'll learn something other than what Chris Tingle or Herr Olberloon can "teach" you.

Canadian HIV Vaccine Ready for Human Tests

Canadian Liberals Attempt to Manipulate Media

See? It's not just American Liberals that think they rule the airwaves to their own benefit. They're media manipulators and whores in Canada, too.

Remember this? No. I don't blame you if you're American, but it was quite the little story here in Canada back during the Canadian General Election of 2006. Former CTV anchor/journalist (now Conservative Senator) Mike Duffy hada little run-in with Liberal stradegist, John Duffy. J. Duffy had apparently tried to intimidate M. Duffy off air into not talking about an potentially embarrassing ad by the Conservative Party. M let J have it with both barrels, letting him know in no uncertain terms that journalist Duffy would not be intimidated by a politician attempting to avoid an embarrassing situation.

Typical Liberal ploy, again and again.

Harper Scares Off Ignatieff Threat

Canadian Prime Minister, Stephen Harper has done away with the threat by Liberal leader, Michael Ignatieff wherein Iggy had threatened to "bring down" the Conservative government, unless Harper "re-worked" the Canadian employment insurance system.

Harper stood his ground and Iggy beat a hasty retreat. Not only does this give Harper political clout, while showing that Ignatieff is prone to empty threats and bluffs, but the Harper government had said it had planned on fixing E.I. all along.

Bang, bang, you missed Mr. Ignatieff. Now go sit down.

Apparently he doesn't even know which way is up when it comes to his own platforms

Obama's Top 10 Apologies

Apology and appeasement, that's the name of the game.

1. Apology to Europe: Speech in Strasbourg, France, April 3. “In America, there’s a failure to appreciate Europe‘s leading role in the world. Instead of celebrating your dynamic union and seeking to partner with you to meet common challenges, there have been times where America has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive.”

2. Apology to the Muslim world: Interview with Al Arabiya, January 27. “My job to the Muslim world is to communicate that the Americans are not your enemy. We sometimes make mistakes. We have not been perfect.”

3. Apology to the Summit of the Americas: Address to the Summit of the Americas, Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, April 17. “While the United States has done much to promote peace and prosperity in the hemisphere, we have at times been disengaged, and at times we sought to dictate our terms.”

4. Apology at the G-20 Summit of World Leaders: News conference in London, April 2. “I just think in a world that is as complex as it is, that it is very important for us to be able to forge partnerships as opposed to simply dictating solutions.”

5. Apology for the War on Terror: Speech in Washington, D.C., May 21. “Unfortunately, faced with an uncertain threat, our government made a series of hasty decisions. I believe that many of these decisions were motivated by a sincere desire to protect the American people. But I also believe that all too often our government made decisions based on fear rather than foresight, that all too often our government trimmed facts and evidence to fit ideological predispositions.”

6. Apology for Guantanamo in France: Speech in Strasbourg, France, April 3. “In dealing with terrorism, we can’t lose sight of our values and who we are. That’s why I closed Guantanamo. That’s why I made very clear that we will not engage in certain interrogation practices. I don’t believe that there is a contradiction between our security and our values. And when you start sacrificing your values, when you lose yourself, then over the long term that will make you less secure.”

7. Apology for America before the Turkish Parliament: Speech to the Turkish Parliament, Ankara, Turkey, April 6. “The United States is still working through some of our own darker periods in our history. Facing the Washington Monument that I spoke of is a memorial of Abraham Lincoln, the man who freed those who were enslaved even after Washington led our Revolution. Our country still struggles with the legacies of slavery and segregation, the past treatment of Native Americans.”

8. Apology for U.S. Policy toward the Americas: Editorial “Choosing a Better Future in the Americas,” April 16. “Too often, the United States has not pursued and sustained engagement with our neighbors. We have been too easily distracted by other priorities, and have failed to see that our own progress is tied directly to progress throughout the Americas.”

9. Apology for the Mistakes of the CIA: Remarks to CIA employees at Langley, Va., April 29. “Don’t be discouraged that we have to acknowledge potentially we’ve made some mistakes.”

10. Apology for Guantanamo: Speech in Washington, D.C., May 21. “There is also no question that Guantanamo set back the moral authority that is America’s strongest currency in the world.”

What were we thinking!?

Isn't This Wonderful?

The Triumvirate of Tyranny-Chavez, Ahmedinejad and Obama. These guys are backing everything each other does and all you Obamaphiles are to blame. With your help, the MSM annoints a Socialist, inexperienced, dictator-supporting "president" that does absolutely nothing when Iran is shooting and beating to death innocent citizens in the streets, Chavez is lining up with Fidel Castro and Vladimir Putin to author a potential "Venezuelan Missle Crisis," is doing everything he can to weaken America. To prove that, he will now block new sanctions against Iran.

Brilliant. Yep. One Big Ass Mistake, America.

Happy 4th of July
