Put on the Clown Nose and Say Any Thing You Want

...but only if you're a liberal.

In this piece from Big Hollywood's John Nolte, he eloquently exposes all the Liberal comedians "force field " that is "satire." From Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, to Whoopie Goldberg and Joy Behar. Self-described "comedians" (or comediennes, if you wish) say whatever they want about anyone with out the fear of retribution from their liberal friends in media and in their own profession.

Nolte, in this case, is talking about the hypocrisy of Stewart and Colbert in particular. But the examples he uses covers the gamut for pretty much all liberals who make their living trying to make people laugh. As a side note, do you ever notice how the audience members of shows like The Daily Show, The View and Real Time with Bill Maher are kind of like young children watching a variety show with their parents. They don't know what they're laughing at, only that their parents are, so they do too.

Hypocrisy and hate, disguised as parody or satire. Golly, I sure would like to be able to get away with that.

The Ongoing Hypocrisy of the NYT

Isn't this nice? Catholism and Catholics can be mocked at every given turn (even outright lies are perpetuated, advocated and condoned) and representatives of the media go along with it every time like they're singing along at a campfire.
Just don't you dare mock Islam or reveal the violence inherited in that religion (which is openly condoned and practiced for all to see) lest you invite ridicule from the MSM. It's o.k. for women and children in that religion to be burned, whipped, stoned and beheaded for simply talking to a male that isn't their husband, father or brother (or male cousins, nephews and so on) but if a Catholic (or any denomination of the Christian faith) even dares to write a letter opposing anything from abortion to pornography, it's open season on anyone believing in said faith.

Such is the case in yet another painfully obvious case of media hypocrisy from the New York Times.

Back in 2006 when newspapers and magazines all over North America and Western Europe refused to run cartoons editorializing on the mocking of the Prophet Mohammad (they said it was due to political correctness when in fact it was because of fear) "art" exhibits and museums, art galleries and said newspapers and magazines continued (and indeed continue) to run disgusting and highly offensive exhibits and articles mocking all facets of Christianity. Two in particular was the exibit in which a picture of the Holy Mother was submerged in a container with urine and another picture of Mary the mother of Jesus made up of pornograpgic stills.

The trend continues with an exhibit of ants scurrying all over a crucifix that the NYT proudly featured in Wednesday's Arts section by David Wojnarowicz entitled, "A Fire in My Belly." Another "artist," Michael Kimmelman was "granted the front page of Wednesday’s Arts section for a snobbish chiding of uncouth American conservatives who helped squelch a video some found sacrilegious, by a featured artist in a Smithsonian gay art exhibit: 'In Britain, Separation of Art and State.'”

Hypocrisy? What hypocrisy?

This is How Democrats Control Spending

The next time Dennis Kucinich complains about frivolous lawsuits and government spending (of course, only when there's a Republican in the White House or a Republican-controlled Congress) let him explain this.

2011 State of the Union

The full transcript of President Obama's 2011 State of the Union address.
Video to follow...

Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to watch this last night as I sleep during the late afternoons/evenings due to working the midnight shift. But what I read from the transcript, another good speech. He said all the things America wanted to hear. At least almost all.
But that's the thing. Was he just blowing smoke? Did he just say the things he thinks America wanted to hear, or does he honestly believe what he said. I think he did. At I think he wants to believe them. But he's been caught too many times just spewing out rhetoric designed to appease his base and those who need to know there's a viable future for them.

That's not a bad thing. That's what the President of the United States should do. He should make people feel better about their future and that of their country. He supposed to make people proud to be Americans, to be proud of the accomplishments of the nation; not to have them be weighed down with guilt about greed, or historical improprieties.

The problem, with the president is he always seems to say the right thing, only to go back on his word, or to have people discover he didn't have his facts straight. Let's hope with the victories of the Republicans in the House, Obama will learn from Clinton and govern from the center. He seems to be already doing that. He is remarkably up to 50% approval rating across all polls. That Republican victory may just be the "loss" Obama needs for a second term. Like I said, it worked for Clinton.

Some of what I consider "highlights:"

"...we have never measured progress by these yardsticks alone. We measure progress by the success of our people."

"The competition for jobs is real. But this shouldn’t discourage us. It should challenge us. Remember – for all the hits we’ve taken these last few years, for all the naysayers predicting our decline, America still has the largest, most prosperous economy in the world. No workers are more productive than ours. No country has more successful companies, or grants more patents to inventors and entrepreneurs. We are home to the world’s best colleges and universities, where more students come to study than any other place on Earth."

"The future is ours to win. But to get there, we can’t just stand still. As Robert Kennedy told us, 'The future is not a gift. It is an achievement.'”

"Our free enterprise system is what drives innovation. But because it’s not always profitable for companies to invest in basic research, throughout history our government has provided cutting-edge scientists and inventors with the support that they need. That’s what planted the seeds for the Internet. That’s what helped make possible things like computer chips and GPS."

Half a century ago, when the Soviets beat us into space with the launch of a satellite called Sputnik¸ we had no idea how we’d beat them to the moon. The science wasn’t there yet. NASA didn’t even exist. But after investing in better research and education, we didn’t just surpass the Soviets; we unleashed a wave of innovation that created new industries and millions of new jobs.

"This is our generation’s Sputnik moment. Two years ago, I said that we needed to reach a level of research and development we haven’t seen since the height of the Space Race. In a few weeks, I will be sending a budget to Congress that helps us meet that goal. We’ll invest in biomedical research, information technology, and especially clean energy technology – an investment that will strengthen our security, protect our planet, and create countless new jobs for our people." *The problem with this is, when Obama says invest, he means that the government should spend more taxpayer money and call it an investment. When he says tax reform, he means government should tax the wealthy more.

"We need to get behind this innovation. And to help pay for it, I’m asking Congress to eliminate the billions in taxpayer dollars we currently give to oil companies. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but they’re doing just fine on their own. So instead of subsidizing yesterday’s energy, let’s invest in tomorrow’s."*See above.

"Over the next ten years, nearly half of all new jobs will require education that goes beyond a high school degree. And yet, as many as a quarter of our students aren’t even finishing high school. The quality of our math and science education lags behind many other nations. America has fallen to 9th in the proportion of young people with a college degree. And so the question is whether all of us – as citizens, and as parents – are willing to do what’s necessary to give every child a chance to succeed. " *So throw more money at the Teacher's Unions.

"That responsibility begins not in our classrooms, but in our homes and communities. It’s family that first instills the love of learning in a child. Only parents can make sure the TV is turned off and homework gets done. We need to teach our kids that it’s not just the winner of the Super Bowl who deserves to be celebrated, but the winner of the science fair; that success is not a function of fame or PR, but of hard work and discipline."

"We will put more Americans to work repairing crumbling roads and bridges. We will make sure this is fully paid for, attract private investment, and pick projects based on what’s best for the economy, not politicians."

"I recognize that some in this Chamber have already proposed deeper cuts, and I’m willing to eliminate whatever we can honestly afford to do without. But let’s make sure that we’re not doing it on the backs of our most vulnerable citizens. And let’s make sure what we’re cutting is really excess weight. Cutting the deficit by gutting our investments in innovation and education is like lightening an overloaded airplane by removing its engine. It may feel like you’re flying high at first, but it won’t take long before you’ll feel the impact"

"Now, I’ve heard rumors that a few of you have some concerns about the new health care law. So let me be the first to say that anything can be improved. If you have ideas about how to improve this law by making care better or more affordable, I am eager to work with you. We can start right now by correcting a flaw in the legislation that has placed an unnecessary bookkeeping burden on small businesses."
*He said this before and didn't honor it.

"Look to Iraq, where nearly 100,000 of our brave men and women have left with their heads held high; where American combat patrols have ended; violence has come down; and a new government has been formed. This year, our civilians will forge a lasting partnership with the Iraqi people, while we finish the job of bringing our troops out of Iraq. America’s commitment has been kept; the Iraq War is coming to an end."*No credit to Bush. None for the surge.

"In Pakistan, al Qaeda’s leadership is under more pressure than at any point since 2001. Their leaders and operatives are being removed from the battlefield. Their safe-havens are shrinking. And we have sent a message from the Afghan border to the Arabian Peninsula to all parts of the globe: we will not relent, we will not waver, and we will defeat you." *Sound familiar?

"We will not tire. We will not falter. And we will not fail."-President George W. Bush. September 21, 2001

"Tonight, let us speak with one voice in reaffirming that our nation is united in support of our troops and their families. Let us serve them as well as they have served us – by giving them the equipment they need; by providing them with the care and benefits they have earned; and by enlisting our veterans in the great task of building our own nation."

"We should have no illusions about the work ahead of us. Reforming our schools; changing the way we use energy; reducing our deficit – none of this is easy. All of it will take time. And it will be harder because we will argue about everything. The cost. The details. The letter of every law.
Of course, some countries don’t have this problem. If the central government wants a railroad, they get a railroad – no matter how many homes are bulldozed. If they don’t want a bad story in the newspaper, it doesn’t get written.
And yet, as contentious and frustrating and messy as our democracy can sometimes be, I know there isn’t a person here who would trade places with any other nation on Earth."

"The idea of America endures. Our destiny remains our choice. And tonight, more than two centuries later, it is because of our people that our future is hopeful, our journey goes forward, and the state of our union is strong.
Thank you, God Bless You, and may God Bless the United States of America."

Michelle Bachman and the Tea Party response:

Lefties Idea of Civility

This is how lefty college students want to deal with a difference of opinion of another ideology. No condemnation from liberal media...of course. It's ok, they're only killing right-wingers.

Of course, their first victim sets the tone for their "mission," as a "typical" right-winger, the soldier (you know, those blood-thirsty baby killers-no, not abortionists) is admirer of Hitler. History of the left be damned.

MSM Ignores 'March for Life'

In this day and age where the killing of unborn children is unabashedly celebrated (applause for Roe v. Wade decision on its anniversary) and even honored (which is even more disgusting given the recent arrest of Kermit the Killer) the media on Monday night and Tuesday morning showed this is indeed the case as all three news networks (not including FOX) totally ignored the "March for Life" in Washington, DC where hundreds of thousands took to the streets.
Only CNN and FOX mentioned the event. Alas, CNN chose to "report" on the story by giving it a brief mention on its seven p.m. eastern hour. Anchor John King mentioned it in passing, omitting crowd numbers and footage from the march and downplaying the numbers as only in the "thousands."

Why would any news network who claim to be objective ignore such a monumental story, considering the fact how liberal networks like MSNBC aired hour-long specials after the murder of abortionist, George Tiller:

“If it bleeds, it leads.” Remember that mantra to explain the TV networks’ fascination with gory visuals? And yet these same networks could barely touch this story, even with its jaw-dropping ratings potential. “CBS Evening News” had one story, NBC's "Today" "offered 50 vague words, and ABC couldn’t be bothered. Rachel Maddow anchored an entire hour-long special on the shooting death of abortionist George Tiller, but a Nexis search finds no one on MSNBC could even whisper the name of Kermit Gosnell. (CNN and Fox News each followed the story for a few days.)

Wonderful

Well, maybe it'll teach kids at the end of the game (I don't suppose the point is to become a dictator, is it?)
It's supposed to teach Polish kids about living under Soviet-era communist-rule. At least it teaches that you can't get something for nothing.

An Homage to Reagan

Despite what President Obama thought of the policies (as he himself says in this article) of President Ronald Reagan, he knows, as everyone should, that Reagan was a real leader, a man of unshakable faith, family, confidence, truth and fortitude. And above all else the man was a patriot.

The man made Americans proud to be American. Nobody cared about the deficit, because in the "Me decade" that was known as the 80s, most people were working and content with their life in the land of the free. Nobody seems to care about the deficit when your children are fed and clothed. There seemed to be more flags flying high when Reagan was president. There was more cause to be proud. Everything from respect abroad to economic booms to the fall of Communism, Reagan was mostly responsible.

Kudos to President Obama for this article.

In Response to Ron

Just a quick counter-point to Ron Reagan, Jr (what a waste of a name, given this guy's mindset) and his book, My Father at 100, wherein the author claims to have witnessed his father, President Ronald Reagan, had symptoms of Alzheimer's Disease while in his second term as president.

Of course, he's the only one-besides the liberal disgrace that is Dianne Sawyer who says, all of a sudden, that she too remembers Reagan not being all there. Again, not one member of his former cabinet, any foreign dignitary, friend, other family members or journalist has ever mentioned seeing something different or wrong with Reagan while president.
Edmund Morris, the Ronald Reagan biographer, says in an interview that he doubts the claim in part because Reagan's daily diaries are as "clearly expressed and well-written at the end of his presidency as at the beginning."

A couple of years s ago, when Reagan's diaries were published, I took the liberty of showing you just what his thoughts were on the Soviet Union, Gloria Steinem and the feminist movement that invoked lies to bash him; Communism, Iran Contra and of course, his adoring wife, Nancy.

Not anywhere in those passages was there the slightest hint that Reagan had any thing wrong with his state of mind. Like Morris said, Reagan's daily diaries are as "clearly expressed and well-written" at the end of his presidency as at the beginning." From beginning to end. Eight years worth of The Great Communicator's thoughts and wishes (and regrets) and unrestrained love for his wife, God and country.

The Worst of the Worst

So with Kieth Olberloon gone from A MESS NBC (Oh Happy Day!) the inevitable "Worst Kieth Olbermann Insane Rants" gathering has been accumulated.

NewsBusters' Scott Whitlock did an admirable job in putting together this video collage of Herr Olbermann's "greatest hits." And by that, I mean uninformed, ignorant, hateful hit pieces.

35 Killed in Moscow Suicide Bombing

Was There A Middle East Deal to Be Made?

Al Jazeera and English newspaper, The Guardian have allegedly obtained documentation that Palestinian negotiators were willing to cede land in the Mid East peace talks over the years in an attempt at gaining independent statehood.

While I don't trust anything coming from "Palestinian" representatives or al Jazeera, this is quite the interesting turn of events, if it's true.

And it may not be, considering the Guardians precedent for spin.

This is What Abortion Looks Like

I should, but I won't. That is there are pictures on the net that show the unedited results of abortion. I'm talking severed heads, disembodied limbs (several pics taken with the monsters that are the "proud" parents) These pictures are so unsettling, so shocking, most litterly couldn't stomach them. So I can't just post pictures up here on the front page, although it would be quite the attention-getter. However, you should know what is going on in these clinics if you don't already. So, If you want to see these pictures, they are here. But I warn you, they are VERY GRAPHIC AND DISTURBING! Also check out LifeDynamics.com.

Now this isn't to say that all abortion clinics and their doctors are this disgusting, even if their jobs are. I write this post because, due to the arrest of the evil monster known as Kermit Gosnell (I simply refuse to call him doctor) and how the left is defending his "right" to savagely murder infants not only in the womb, but those who survive the "procedure" outside the womb as well; you have a right to know the truth about these places.

Townhall.com's Kevin McCullough has it pegged as has Michelle Malkin that although the abortion murder scam known as "women's reproductive rights" has been goin on for a generation now, it doesn't dispel the facts of its horrors.

The 281-page grand jury report introduction:
"This case is about a doctor who killed babies and endangered women. What we mean is that he regularly and illegally delivered live, viable babies in the third trimester of pregnancy -- and then murdered these newborns by severing their spinal cords with scissors. The medical practice by which he carried out this business was a filthy fraud in which he overdosed his patients with dangerous drugs, spread venereal disease among them with infected instruments, perforated their wombs and bowels -- and, on at least two occasions, caused their deaths. Over the years, many people came to know that something was going on here. But no one put a stop to it."

Hitler Finds Out that Obermann Has Been Fired

Look, I'm not comparing Olbermann, MSNBC or lefties in general to Nazis. I agree with Mara Liasson who said recently that, and I'm paraphrasing here, "Anyone who invokes or compares someone to Nazis when they're not speaking about the Holocaust, I just tune them out." And, yes, I myself have used the term "brownshirts" once or twice, but this is just too damn funny!

30-Year Anniversary of Iran Hostages Release

Not much of a surprise that the liberal media doesn't make more of this. After all, it was their president, Smilin' Jimmy Carter that failed to procure the release. It's no wonder that they don't want to remind you of the legacy of failure that was the presidential peanut farmer.

Story via HotAir.

We Americans are slow to anger. We always seek peaceful avenues before resorting to the use of force — and we did. We tried quiet diplomacy, public condemnation, economic sanctions, and demonstrations of military force. None succeeded. Despite our repeated warnings, Qadhafi continued his reckless policy of intimidation, his relentless pursuit of terror. He counted on America to be passive. He counted wrong. I warned that there should be no place on Earth where terrorists can rest and train and practice their deadly skills. I meant it. I said that we would act with others, if possible, and alone if necessary to ensure that terrorists have no sanctuary anywhere. Tonight, we have.

Maybe Carter should have learned from this man. Qadhafi sure did.

Left Wing Climate of Hate and Assassination

Still trust the MSM to accurately relay the news about left-wing hatred? Still think there's more hate on the right than the left? Of course you do. Of course you believe that nonsense. Why wouldn't you? If you get your news from the mainstream media, you would think that there is no left-wing hatred of the right at all! You've already seen how the lefty media tried to blame conservatives in general and Sarah Palin in particular with the shooting of Gabriel Giffords with absolutely no evidence to support it (even shooter, Loughner's friends and/or associates say he didn't watch TV or listen to talk-radio) yet they tried in earnest to pin the shooting of Giffords and the death of six people on Palin, Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, etc. because that's their mission. Yet no apology from the left for their slanderous actions. If the tables were turned, how many liberals would be demanding the resignations of these "journalists?"

What's left is right and what's right is evil. Anything contrary to that mission statement of the MSM is omitted, plain and simple.

Case in point, here is a story from American Thinker's Jack Cashill on the lefty media's "successful propaganda."

The One Who Can't Lose Sure Picks A Lot of Losers

From stumping for Democrats in the mid-terms to picking winners in the NCAA Final Four to the NFL playoffs, President Obama just can't seem to get it right. He was pretty adamant about his team, Da Bears, defeating the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. He even predicted the score.

I mean, why not? That's his team right? Why wouldn't you pick your team that won their division this year, were hosting the divisional final at home and were last in the big game only four short years ago?

Well, given his past at picking winners (in all arenas) after this, maybe it's time he kept them to himself.

Schuster Defends Olbermann's Tactics and Extreme Liberalism

Since the surprising resignation from his MSNBC show on Friday, the blogosphere seems to be on fire with joy from the right and astonishment and anger from the left over the departure of Kieth Olbermann. Now I have to say, I'm not one to force anyone off of the air. Not Kieth Olbermann, not Don Imus, not even Chris Matthews (I have a feeling if the rest of the MSNBC crew doesn't curtail their insipid, public hatred for everything conservative, their new bosses at Comcast might just have them follow Olbermann closely out the door. Ratings seem to actually mean something to the new MSNBC owners)

Appearing on CNN's Reliable Sources, host Howard Kurtz witnessed the ultra-liberal and former MSNBC host, David Schuster defend one of his own by claiming that Olbermann was not unfair, bias or divisive. Other guest, television critic and Baltimore Sun columnist, David Zurawik gave Schuster unadulterated facts about Olbermann's tenure at the liberal network and how he never had any conservatives or anyone who disagreed with him on as guests. Zurawik also made note of how he and the other MSNBC hosts that made up the MSNBC mid-term election night panel "...started literally heckling and abusing the conservative politicians who won victories when they came on to do interviews..."
Schuster tried to claim that this was "unfair" of Zurawik, as well as, according to Schuster, making a "... a false equivalency that you and other folks make between Keith Olbermann and Glenn Beck..."

Typically, Schuster tried to invoke Glenn Beck as the purveyor of hate on television and radio (of course) by wildly claiming, "Look, the fact of the matter is, is there are people who have tried to carry out acts of violence who were inspired by Glenn Beck." The fact of the matter? Schuster falsely claimed on national television (with a plurality) that Glenn Beck is responsible for violent acts without mentioning one name, one case where someone was arrested after the fact, or had found documentation whereby they admitted to be influenced, nay, forced to commit acts of violence because of what Glenn Beck said on the air. Not one. Not only a typical liberal ploy, but libelous, I would say.
It looks like "The One" didn't teach these frauds of liberal "news" a thing. And one of the real reasons Olbermann is gone. Of all people, Schuster should know that.

What Happened to the Anti-War Movement?

Where are the "Obama=Hitler" signs?
Where is the media stories about Afghani civilian deaths? Where's the bloated numbers?
Where's the MSM anti-government rhetoric? Where's Code Pink?
A few misleading statements by "candidate" Obama?

Didn't President Obama end "combat operations in Iraq?" Didn't Bush already do that?
Mission accomplished?

Olbermann Quits?

Did he announce this earlier? I don't watch this train wreck of a network (I see enough clips and read enough transcripts) so I didn't hear a thing about this. I mean, I can't say that I'm disappointed. And it didn't take the far-left fascist way of censorship and force him of the air! Of course this won't last long. He'll be back somewhere. He can't shut up or not spew his misleading and uninformed vitriol for long. and I'm sure he'll still be around to lend his oh-so-invaluable "expert" opinion on Matthew's, Maddow's, Schultz's or any other of Mess's low-rated shriek-fests.

Ah. The New York Times has the "scoop."

Liberals Pile on After Ron Reagan, Jr. Releases Book on His Father

Forget the son of Ronald Reagan trying to snuggle up to his liberal friends by essentially saying that his father was demented while in the Oval Office-for which his brother, Michael rightfully called him "an embarrassment," the real opportunity here for liberal is to take Ronnie's ball and run with it. "Well, the son of Reagan said he had Alzheimer's while in office, so it has to be true!" That's their logic. And now anyone who had even remotely come into contact with the former president is going to get their name in the news and magazine articles claiming that The Gipper was "not fit" or "out of touch."

Forget about the words of people that worked with President Reagan on a daily basis, like his cabinet members and honest members of the media-when they actually existed-who say that Reagan was the most intelligent, stoic and "on the ball" man they had ever worked with or covered. Not to mention that there is no doctor's report to say otherwise prior to 2004. Nah, that would destroy the whole liberal-hate-Reagan narrative, now wouldn't it?

H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-S-Y!!

After all the bias and cater-walling about how "right-wing rhetoric" and non-existent "hate speech" caused insane loser, Jared Loughner to start a shooting rampage in Tucson and President Obama calling for civility, the media then totally ignore the rantings of a Democrat senator comparing the GOP to *yawn* Nazis. As did MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnel.

So clearly and predictably, the MSM is all about their own non-existent "facts," and what they deem newsworthy. Like I had to tell you that.

Media Charge Santorum with Racism

You know you have won an argument against the left when the only thing they can question when you take apart the policies of their president (who happens to be black-or is that half black, like when he was in the primaries, then mysteriously turned "all black" when he ran for president) and then they scream racism (infinitely)

And as Brent Bozell wrote today," Hasn't Dr. Alveda King, niece of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Day Gardner, Rev. Childress or any number of other black leaders who have also called abortion the civil rights issue of our day?"

Once again, the media in their vain search for Republican racism, took Santorum's comments out of context, totally omitting the lead-up to his so-called "controversial" answer. Once again, only conservatives can be controversial.

Chris Matthews: Thrill Up the Leg...Part Deaux

And I mean "deaux" as in "duh," because here we go again. What's up with this guy? Is he going to be handing out chocolates on Valentine's Day?

Abortion Doctor Charged with Murder

It was just a matter of time before one of these Cultists of Death got busted for doing what the opponents of abortion have been saying for years. Not only are these types of "doctors" making cash hand over fist on the murder of unborn children, but they're getting rich (one of the rich people that the left doesn't mind about-even the way they make their living; something these children will never get an opportunity to do) off of traditional murder as well.

You can get rid of the "back alley abortions," but you can't get rid of back-alley doctors, it seems.

Of course, the media didn't think this was newsworthy until it hit the net. I wonder how the media will spin this into all those murders of babies born alive is somehow conservatives' fault.

No Kidding, Really?

Judge John M. Roll: A Hero in Death

House Repeals Obamacare, 245-189

Via HotAir.com, The new Republican-led House of Representatives voted 245-189 (including two Dems) to repeal Obamacare that Republicans and the Tea Party caucus say has already driven up insurance premiums, taken away patients right to choose their own doctor and driven up healthcare costs for businesses to the point of where those businesses have had to engage in layoffs, among other financial and moral pieces of the law; late-term abortion and "death panels," among them. Yes, it is true.

However, the left and some on the right's argument about this being a waste of time is a mighty good argument at that since in no way will this pass the Democrat-controlled Senate.

The House will pass H.R. 2 this week. Once that bill is passed, it will be sent to the Senate for consideration. Once the Senate receives the bill, any Senator can use Rule 14 to object to the second reading of the bill. This procedural objection will “hold at the desk” the House-passed bill and allow the Senate to act on the full repeal measure.

If the bill is referred to committee, it will never get to the Senate floor. This procedural objection by one or a number of Senators will stop the bill from being referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee (HELP). If the bill is referred to committee, there is little to no expectation that the committee will pass the bill, let alone have one hearing on the bill.
Objecting to Rule 14 would hold the bill at the desk of the Senate and would put H.R. 2 on the Senate calendar.

This procedure could be done with a letter or call from one Senator to the party leader. This would allow the Senate Majority Leader to commence debate on the matter when he so chooses. It is unlikely that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D–NV) would move to proceed to the bill, yet there is a procedure that any Senator can use to force a debate.

Any Senator can use Rule 22 to commence debate on H.R. 2 if they have held the bill at the desk.

So, uh, don't hold your breath.

Palin: I Am Not Going to Shut Up

You go girl. And read the interview, she's right on every count. That's the way liberals do things. Beat them in an argument (like that's hard to do) they tell you to shut up or they change the subject. Expose their faulty logic and they tell a lie about you with their projection. Insult. Isolate. Demonize. It's all in the Salinsky handbook, Rules for Radicals. A favorite of the Obama administration.

Rules for Power Tactics:
1. Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have.

2. Never go outside the experience of your people.

3. Whenever possible, go outside of the experience of the enemy.

4. Make the enemy live up to their own book of rules.

5. Ridicule is man's most potent weapon.

6. A good tactic is one that your people enjoy.

7. A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.

8. Keep the pressure on with different tactics and actions, and utilize all events of the period for
your purpose.

9. The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.

10. The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition.

11. If you push a negative hard and deep enough, it will break through into its counterside.

12. The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.

13. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. Sound familiar?

Rules to Test Whether Power Tactics are Ethical:
1. One's concern with the ethics of means and ends varies inversely with one's personal interest in the issue.

The Victims of Loughner

For all the noise we've heard concerning last week's shooting in Arizona, a lot has been made about who's fault it is, who's "rhetoric" was louder than other's, which one drove the shooter, Jared Loughner, over the edge?

In the rush to blame everyone else other than the actual perpetrator, Loughner himself, both the left and the right have neglected to mention the victims in all of their tirades and assumptions.

The New York Times has put together little obituaries for the six victims of the shooting, including little nine-year-old, Christina Green and Judge John M. Roll.

The Righteousness and Ignorance of Michael Moore

Or is that the sheer foolishness and stupidity of Michael Moore? I can never tell the two apart when it comes t this buffoon.

So apparently, not only should people not have guns to protect themselves from the ever-growing insanity of moonbats like Moore himself, according to the mockumentary-maker, if you don't let people of color rob and kill you, you're a, wait for it...A RACIST!

And regarding the gun laws in Canada, wrong again Michelle!

The gun laws in Canada, which he clearly knows absolutely nothing about (Actually, he knows nothing about Canada, period-like Canadians actually leave their doors unlocked?) the gun laws in Canada have actually been relaxed with hand-gun owners being seen as the responsible citizens they are, not the brazen Wild West gunslingers Moore thinks that everyone who owns a gun is...except his armed and dangerous security detail. Betcha didn't know that did ya?

Joe Lieberman to Retire?

Joe Lieberman, the only former Democrat with any morals, besides a c0uple of Blue Dogs, and the man that was dumped from the Democrat Party for supporting John McCain in the 2008 general election, is reportedly going to hang them up. There is no word concerning an official statement of retirement, but why would he need a press conference to announce his plans for 2012 if he's going to do anything different than run for a eleventh term?

Levin Punks Maher

And it's about time. Too bad it wasn't on national television, so once again everyone could see just how historically ignorant Bill Maher really is. Talk-radio host, Mark Levin (who MSNBC's Sgt. Schultz is too afraid to mention by name) exposed Maher's ignorance and plain ol' stupidity about the Founding Fathers of America quite well. Not that it would be hard to argue such things with a elitist, ignorant far-left liberal like Maher. This guy has had free reign with loose "facts" far too long now and it's about time people took him to task for it.
Not that it would really matter, for Maher has been schooled before...

Brent Bozell: Who is Eric Fuller?

Great piece by NewsBusters editor and head of the Media Research Center, Brent Bozell on the double standards of the networks and why isn't the left being blamed for the actions of Eric Fuller?

OK, so conservatives have to be accused of fostering hatred with our alleged vitriol, the kind of vitriol which fuels the flames of violence, like we witnessed in Tucson except – well, except there wasn’t, and isn’t, a shred of evidence that the killer was influenced by any conservatives since a) he didn’t listen to or watch conservative programming and b) isn’t a conservative.
There is the hypothetical question: What if the perpetrator of violence were liberal? How would the media react then? How many would put Chris Matthews, Paul Krugman, Keith Olbermann and Co. on trial for creating the “atmosphere” of “hatred” so often ascribed to conservatives only?
In fact, it happened. One of Jared Loughner’s shooting victims was a local leftist activist, Eric Fuller, who last week was invited to ABC’s taping of an “American Conversation.” There, in front of all the cameras, he interrupted a local Tea Party activist by uttering what should be considered in this atmosphere to be a blood-curdling threat: “You’re dead!” Police considered these words serious enough to have him removed and involuntarily committed to a mental institution.
The very same media outlets that had spent seven days pounding conservatives with no evidence didn’t find this threat worth more than a perfunctory mention, an asterisk. The same people who turned the words “You lie!” from Rep. Joe Wilson to Obama into a week-long scandal for conservatives now heard a man proclaim “You’re dead!” to a Tea Party activist at a national news taping – and they yawned.
Which is not to say that the press wasn’t interested in the pronouncements of this man. In fact, Fuller had been
featured in an interview on the radical-left Pacifica Radio network the day before, and they dutifully broadcast his either dishonest or insane rant: “It looks like Palin, Beck, Sharron Angle, and the rest got their first target. Their wish for Second Amendment activism has been fulfilled – senseless hatred leading to murder, lunatic fringe anarchism, subscribed to by John Boehner, mainstream rebels with vengeance for all, even nine-year-old girls."
So let’s look at the coverage. The first responsibility to report this was ABC’s, since they invited this crank to their special episode of “This Week” with Christiane Amanpour. ABC did a big story previewing their “healing” event on “World News Saturday.” At first they pretended that no one made a death threat, and no one was dragged away by police. Anchor David Muir, who co-hosted the town-hall meeting, declared, “Wasn’t it something to see this community together? They want consensus.” Amanpour agreed: “Today we saw them wanting to carry on an honest dialogue, but a reasonable and rational one.”
Just after that delusional dual act of self-congratulation, Muir reported the opposite. In “another note tonight,” he reported, “James Fuller, who was shot twice last week, took offense at what another audience member was saying, and mumbled what seemed to be a threat.”
What? Fuller threatening “You’re dead” is on tape – their tape. So why is he “mumbling” what “seemed to be a threat”? Why couldn’t they specify that he had made a direct, unequivocal death threat against Tea Party activist Trent Humphries? And as for taking offense, they were there. They heard what Humphries was saying. At that very moment he pleading for civility, urging the audience not to enter into debates about gun legislation or other remedies, not when the funerals for the victims hadn’t been concluded. No sane person could take offense to those words.
At least CBS let Humphries explain it the next night: “He booed me while I was talking, you know, very loudly. He turned around and then he took a picture of me and said that ‘You’re dead.’”
ABC mentioned Fuller’s outburst on Sunday’s “Good Morning America” and “World News,” but only in passing. CBS aired just a snippet on Sunday night. NBC hasn’t mentioned it – although they reported on January 13 that Fuller went to Jared Loughner’s parents to try and forgive them. Fuller was quoted: "Well, I thought I'd come over here and try to forgive them. I know that sounds crazy." The newspapers also mentioned it in passing on inside pages.
Since these outlets are barely touching this story, no one is replaying Keith Olbermann’s Tweet after Fuller’s loony Pacifica interview that “I think he of all of us has the right to say this,” the “Tucson survivor that names names.”After the death threat, on Monday night, Olbermann lamented Fuller’s threat on Monday night, but blasted ABC’s invitation to Fuller as “a decision smacking of the tawdriness of the Maury Povich Show.”
The entire wave of political coverage after the Tucson shooting has been a tsunami of mud and garbage. If our political system needs to regain some dignity and professionalism, let it begin with Christiane Amanpour and her news colleagues.

By commentor, BBallleaper:
"Now [that it's been proven] that Fuller was previously charged several; years ago with 3rd degree sodomy. As yet unanswered are the following; Was he actually a Tucson 'victim'? There is only his word in several separate interviews that he was shot in both the knee and back. Saying he had no medical training and couldn't be of value at the scene he 'walked' to his car and while driving home decided to go to a hospital for treatment. Yet, miraculously, he was able to walk immediately afterwards and to give interviews and attend media meetings.

Where is the medical report? All gunshot wounds need to be reported to the police. What was the extent of his 'wound(s)'? Didi someone else see him get shot? Is it conceivable that an unemployed mentally dysfunctional alcoholic zealot leftist decided to self-inflict his wounds for attention and a national stage to savage Conservatives and the Tea Party? Fuller is a rabid leftist who just prior to the shootings stated that he would like to cut off the ears of Palin, Rush etc. and make a 'necklace' of them. And yet no national media has pursued any further information about this mentally ill moron who has now been officially 'swept' under the rug by authorities so that he can have NO further contact with any one questioning his story. It would be safe to assume that he has now been 'loaded' with a sufficient amount of Thorazine to put down elephant while the leftist media diffuses his exploits and prays he dies in custody."

Points all. But they make too much sense and are fair questions, so don't expect any sort of rebuke from the left.

Time Magazine Passes Off Pro-Terrorist Freedom Flotilla Stunt as Historic Naval Battle

We all know that the lefty media wants everyone to know just how little educated they actually are about history, but this is just too obvious, even for them.

Time magazine has listed the Top 10 Clashes at Sea. What do you think is a top of their list? Pearl Harbor? Midway? (present, but down the list) The Bismarck? The Lusitania? Nope. According to the historic anomalies at Time magazine, they want you to believe that last summer's collection of terrorist's posing as peaceniks aboard their "freedom flotilla" is what is tantamount to a "great navy battle," as well as the recent U.S. Navy versus Somalia pirates? Or the creme de la creme of naval battles, the RMS Titanic versus...an iceberg?

What did they miss? I mean besides history class? Well, how about the aforementioned bombing of Pearl Harbor, the sinking of the Lusitania that brought America into WWI, the Battle of Salamis (a major turning point in stopping the Persian invasion of Greece) the Battle of Lepanto- The Holy League vs the Ottoman Empire (the first naval defeat of the Ottoman's in 300 years) Battle of Tsushima (which led to Russia s loss in the Russo-Japanese War) not to mention the Battle of Leyte Gulf (only the largest naval battle in history)

But this is how the liberal brain works. It has no room for facts, logic and history. Just emotion, knee-jerk reactions and ignorance. When you don't like the way history was written, simply re-write it. How are the brain-washed, useful idiots that are enrolled in the Fifth Column universities going to tell the difference? How could they stand up to their liberal professors without any threats of grade reduction, expulsion or harassment by the faculty or other students?

Sharpton Needs to Check His Arizona Calendar

I guess Al Sharpton didn't bother listening to President Obama's speech on civility in Arizona, since he's back to playing the race card whenever and wherever he sees fit. Yesterday on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," Sharpton said that Arizona is even more racist because they "don't celebrate Martin Luther King day." Once again, Sharpton is full of it, either by accident or design. Either way he's waaaaaay wrong.

Exploitation of a national tragedy or willful ignorance? I'll leave it to you.

Fuller Apologises to Tea Party Leader for Death Threat

Eric Fuller, a shooting victim of Jared Loughner and the man who threatened the life of Arizona Tea Party leader, Trent Humphries when he yelled, "You're dead!" to the grassroots leader after taking a picture of him, has asked for his forgiveness.

The Left's (especially Chris Matthews) Continuing Fascination with Race

With all the problems going on, the left (and especially that of MSNBC's Chris "Tingle" Matthews) still wants to waste air time chastising Americans for being "afraid" of black people. Forget the fact that President Obama had the vote of 80% of whites, Matthews and his fellow miscreants on the left just can't fathom that Americans don't find Obama's policies to be all that appealing, so of course, it has to be because of racism. I'm sure you're tired of hearing it, just like me, yet the liberal media continues with this tired meme in hopes of convincing the last vestiges of those that can be fooled by their consistent and insane caterwalling.

Why do they insist on this crap? Why? Can they talk about anything else that isn't manufactured paranoia and projection?

MSM Want to Believe Reagan Was Demented While in Office

With the release of Ron Reagan, Jr's book, "My Father at 100," the liberal media have taken great joy in creating a myth (or continuing one that has been thoroughly disproven over the years) that, despite any lack of evidence (other than Ron, Jr. "sensing" something was "different" about his father) that the Great Communicator had developed symptoms of Alzheimer's Disease while still in his second term between 1984 and 1988. Although no one that had worked alongside Reagan ever stated they too had noticed "something wrong" with the former president while he carried out his oath of office.

But leave it to the lefty media to espouse rumor and innuendo as fact. Nothing new here. Remember the Duke Lacrosse non-rape case? Remember the so-called assault (read: spitting) of CBC member, John Lewis and the 15 racial and "homophobic"slurs hurled at him and Barney Frank that never happened? What about the lies about Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh? She never banned or burned books. She never claimed to be able to see "Russia from my house!" That was Tina Fey on Saturday Night Live, but it has been attributed to Palin through the media and left-wing blogs. Racial slurs have been attributed to Limbaugh, but strangely enough no quote, sound bite or video has ever surfaced having Limbaugh say any of what he has and continues to be accused of.

And on it goes with the MSM. So when a chance comes along to smear one of the greatest presidents in history and the best Republican one of the modern age, the liberal press is simply salivating at the chance to drag Reagan's name through the mud; hoping, pleading that it's true. As his other son, Michael Reagan has said, "...pretending he was already lost in the fog of Alzheimer’s is a useful way to deny him credit for his achievements. And of course, it turns Reagan into a vividly literal example of the stereotypical Republican who’s “out of touch with reality."

To his credit, Ron Jr. isn't saying one hundred percent that his father was afflicted with the disease while Commander in Chief, but the media certainly appears to be doing so. They've already given Ron, Jr. leading questions about what they hope above all hope was true. Even so, Ron, Jr. has said that even if the disease did take effect early, it didn't distract Reagan from doing his job as president any more than Kennedy's Addison's or Roosevelt's polio. It seems he is at least trying to correct the MSM from their runaway theories, but why publish something like this at all? More fuel for the anti-Reagan crowd. Not that they needed any more reason in their demented little world.

Ironic, isn't it?

Then again, Reagan was brilliant. Maybe it was all an act just to amuse himself and to leave the liberals heads spinning.

Happy MLK Day

The man, the legend. Today is Martin Luther King, Jr Day (Jan. 15 was his actual birthday) and with it we celebrate diversity and accomplishments from the Civil Rights era until today. How proud would Dr. King have been to have seen America elect it's first black president? How would he have dealt with the media's fawning over him or the way they have made him to be a deity? How would he have felt about the media's vitriol for anything they consider to be against Obama's policies as racism? How would he have been treated by the media for being a Republican? How would he have reacted to Michael Moore's digusting treatment of his good friend, Charlton Heston? As a minister, how would he have seen the media portrayal of Christianity as one of the top evils of the world, or lately the only evil? Would he have forgiven James Earl Ray, his assassin? Probably. That' s the way his Christian upbringing molded him. The same Cristian upbringing that the media is now an accomplice in demonizing.

Where would he stand today?

Michelle Malkin Scores with "Blame Righty: A Condensed History

A pretty good history of lefty hatred and violence. It only dates back to 2000, so you'll have to do a little (and I do mean a little) research to find the obvious same from before the turn of the century. I know, impossible, right?

via MichelleMalkin.com Make sure to check out the compendium to this entitled, The Progressive “Climate of Hate:” An Illustrated Primer, 2000-2010.

Even Al Sharpton Caller Knows Where It's At

It appears that even listeners of Al Sharpton aren't buying into his and other liberal spin about the Tucson, Arizona shootings. Try as they might, they just can't get people to buy into their perverse lies of Sarah Palin and other conservatives being responsible for shooter, Jared Loughner's state of mind.

Tucson Man Who Stopped Loughner Schools Ed Schultz on Responsible Gun Ownership

I guess he had hoped to get a Tea Party supporter who was "evil and violent" to interview in hopes of advancing the MSM's sickly narrative about gun ownership and that it does nothing but advance the theory that anyone who owns a gun in the U.S. is a violent, murderous, deranged lunatic. Too bad for you Ed.

Fascism Reigns in Canada

I can't argue with anyone who says that the political landscape in my home country is fascist. At least it's getting more and more so everyday.

Recently the politically-correct and fearful of artistic freedom and free speech took another swipe at liberty when they had the rock group, Dire Straits' Money for Nothing banned from playing on Canadian radio because it makes reference to "that little faggot got his own jet airplane. That little faggot, he's a millionaire."

Nevermind the fact that this song is over 20 years old and despite it's lyrics was an MTV hit before the politically correct police warped the minds of the youth. Apparently it's o.k. to say "nigger," "cracker," ho," and "bitch" and to condone the murder of police officers and violence on women on rap songs, just don't you dare insult gays...even if it is two and a half decades later. How about the fact that women are called "chicks" in this song? Are they going to ban the use of that word too? I mean it this context, aren't they referred to as whores? And by the way, Sting sang back vocals on this tune. Is there going to be a great movement to ban the works of this lefty favourite? Don't count on it.

What other songs should be banned then? How about "Doing Work for Yuda" and "You Are What You Is" by Frank Zappa? How about Randy Newman's "Short People?" Or hey, how about Queen's "Fat Bottom Girls?"

Hold on to your liberties America. You could be next.

Now They're Totally Off Their Collective Rockers

Apparently the fall of the Roman Empire is now the fault of global warming. Not immigration, not political and civil unrest, not even war, but global warming.
Jeez, what's next? Man-made "Climate change" is the cause for the eradication of the dinosaurs?

Public Death Threat on Tea Party Leader, Media Mostly Ignores Irony

I'm going to give this guy a little slack for now. Afterall, he was just shot by a lunatic. But it's amazing, that just after an insane man shoots several people peacefully gathering at a political event, stout Democrat, Eric Fuller makes a public death threat to the leader of the Arizona Tea Party. It was covered by the MSM of course, but not to decry Fuller, they covered it making him a victim of gun violence (which for once I guess the narrative this time is more truer than usual) but they focused on why he did it (because his "target"was a Tea Partier, so no biggie there-not that you would know that from most MSM outlets as they chose to omit the party status of ) as opposed to who he is, just like they did not a week earlier with Jared Loughner.

This time there was no way to blame conservatives (other than the victim of his threat was a Tea Partier and "drove" Fuller to it) but my question is, who will stand up and incorrectly blame the media for Fuller's threat? I mean, it's the media who have been incorrectly and purposefully portraying the Tea Party as ignorant, violent, racist anti-Obama rednecks. Maybe Fuller used this to form his misinformed opinion? Don't hold your breath thinking that they'll even entertain that thought. And you'll pass out if you think they'll apologize or take any reponsibilty whatsoever. Not they should, but goose and gander, know what I mean?

Is This the Liberal Idea of Civility?

Although President Obama's speech on civility and the toning-down was a good one (it would be taken to heart much more seriously if he himself didn't use the same rhetoric he was believed to be downplaying) it seems that the liberal media establishment doesn't think that this little edict applies to them. Especially from liberal talk-radio.
I guess they didn't get the memo. Or, it's more likely that they know (or at least think) the president wasn't speaking about them.

This is what I have been talking about when it comes to the elitism and hypocrisy of left-wing radio.

Maine Governor to NAACP: “Kiss My Butt”

Finally, someone with enough cahones to stand up publicly to this out-dated, increasingly racist front group.

Watch for the hate-fest and unscrupulous accusations about some affiliation with hate-groups (aka FOX News and the Republican Party) by the NAACP and their elitist liberal allies.
Look! Look! Another cracker racist!
The left couldn't successfully pin the Tucson shootings on Palin, so I guess it's back to the tried and true racist labeling to anyone other than themselves.

Krauthammer Asks Where's the Apology from the Left?

Charles Krauthammer was once again on PBS' Inside Washington to set host, Mark Shields, among others, straight.

Although it is now common knowledge (at least for those who have common knowledge) that Sarah Palin and other talk-radio or conservative pundits speech and opinions had absolutely nothing to do with the Tucson shootings, yet liberals like Shields still espouse the misinformation and ignorance and exact reverse.

Krauthammer, again had to be the voice of reason and factual logic:

VIDEO...

CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER: Well, I think the President actually put an end to that malicious and scurrilous innuendo that was started in the mainstream press, particularly by the New York Times and Obama’s allies on the left, who claimed from the beginning without a shred of evidence that this attack was a consequence of supposedly a climate of hate created by the political right. The President refuted that, as he should have, which I think was healthy, but I think it is a scandal what happened in the four days between the attack and the President's speech of these unwarranted, unsupported, and now obviously discredited attacks from on the left, which essentially made people like Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin and others accessories to a murder, a series of murders, of which they had nothing to do.

SHIELDS: And comforter in chief?

KRAUTHAMMER: He did that as well, but I think it was important to stop the malice and the in-civil discourse that had characterized all the days leading up until the service.

SHIELDS: Nina Totenberg?

NINA TOTENBERG: So we can’t even have a two-minute conversation here without a little bit of finger-pointing, but…

KRAUTHAMMER: You don't think it was merited?
Apparently not.
A few minutes later, Krauthammer expounded on this theme when asked about Palin's Facebook comments:

SHIELDS: Pundits, bloggers, and TV talkers had a lot to say about Sarah Palin this week. She released a video on Facebook to comment on the Tucson shootings. Did Sarah Palin unintentionally make the story about herself and not Tucson? Charles Krauthammer?
Astonishingly stupid question, wouldn't you say? It suggests that Shields doesn't feel the slightest bit of remorse or regret over how the media behaved last week:

KRAUTHAMMER: She didn’t make it about herself. Within hours of the shooting, of which there was no connection to her whatsoever, her name was linked in the AP, New York Times, by all over the airwaves, linking her and linking other conservatives with the shooting. This is a speech that should never have had to be made. There was never a shred of evidence about any connection, and in fact, by midweek, we learned from a friend of the shooter, of Loughner, he didn’t listen to political radio, he didn’t watch TV news, he wasn’t interested in the news, he wasn’t in politics, he wasn’t of left or right. This was the act of a probably paranoid schizophrenic. There’s no question he was acting under mental illness. There was not a shred of evidence of, and why did her name come up? Those who brought it up are the ones who have to answer to that. That was a calumny, and it was unwarranted. I am waiting for apologies from those who raised that name from the beginning."

Right. Where are all the apologies that should be coming Palin's way? Not to mention Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity?

If we go back in history, we can institute the liberal media's way of thinking on every assassination attempt for the last 250 years:

The attempted assassination(s) of George W. Bush-February 7, 2001:
While President George W. Bush was in the White House Residence, in Washington, DC, Robert Pickett, standing outside the perimeter fence, discharged a number of shots from a weapon towards the White House. The U.S. Park Police stated, according to CNN correspondent Eileen O'Connor, that the type of handgun that was confiscated was of a sophisticated type and had the shooter not been shooting from an obstructed angle view, the bullets would have reached the White House. Following a stand-off of about ten minutes, the incident ended when a Secret Service officer shot Pickett, resulting in an injury which required immediate hospital surgery.

Pickett was found to have emotional problems and employment grievances. Pickett had previously written letters to the President about these grievances. A court in July 2001 sentenced Pickett to three years imprisonment in connection with the incident.
September 11, 2001: On the morning of 9/11, President George W. Bush and Laura were playing tennis with Pat and Sue at the Colony Beach and Tennis Resort on Longboat Key, Florida. He woke up around 6:00 AM and prepared for his morning jog. A van occupied by men of Middle Eastern descent arrived at the Colony Beach Resort and claimed they had a "poolside" interview with the President. They did not have an appointment and were turned away. It is possible this was an assassination attempt modeled on the one used on anti-Taliban fighter and Northern Alliance military leader Ahmed Massoud two days earlier.
The previous April, Massoud addressed the European Parliament and warned of the possibility of al-Qaeda attacking in the West. Longboat Key Fire Marshal Carroll Mooneyhan was reported to have overheard the conversation between the men and the Secret Service, but he later denied the report. The newspaper that reported this, the Longboat Observer, stands by its story. Both Mooneyhan and the Observer reporter were questioned by the Secret Service, but the agency has not commented further. Witnesses have recalled seeing 9/11 hijacker ringleader Mohamed Atta in the Longboat Key Holiday Inn a short distance from where Bush was staying as recently as September 7, the day Bush’s Sarasota appearance was publicly announced.

May 10, 2005: While President Bush was giving a speech in the Freedom Square in Tbilisi, Georgia, Vladimir Arutyunian threw a live Soviet-made RGD-5 hand grenade towards the podium where Bush was standing and where Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili, the First Lady of the United States Laura Bush, the First Lady of Georgia Sandra Roelofs, and officials were seated. The grenade was live and had its pin pulled, but did not explode because a red tartan handkerchief wrapped tightly around the grenade kept the firing pin from deploying quickly enough. Arutyunian was arrested in July 2005, and killed an Interior Ministry agent while resisting arrest. He was convicted in January 2006, and was given a life sentence.

November 19, 2008: Asa Seeley was initially reported by multiple sources to have stated he was going to shoot President George W. Bush, but this was later reported that he said that "he was going to Washington to shoot the people that shot him.
" Seeley was arrested at West Baltimore train station carrying a rifle after having been refused transportation to Washington, D.C., by a taxi driver who saw that he was carrying a rifle. Seeley was charged with weapons offenses.

The attempted assassination of Gerald Ford-First attempt: Squeaky Fromme. Many of you still probably haven't heard of her, because she wasn't a right-wing freak attempting to kill a Democrat president; therefore she isn't a favourite of the left as an example of "right-wing extremism." Fromme was a former disciple of Charles Manson. She was anti-government and really didn't favor left or right, but the media of the time, and indeed of today tried to imply that she was an avid follower of extreme right-wing ideals.

September 5, 1975: On the northern grounds of the California State Capitol, Lynette Fromme, a follower of Charles Manson, drew a Colt M1911 .45 caliber pistol on Ford when he reached to shake her hand in a crowd. There were four cartridges in the pistol's magazine but the firing chamber was empty. She was soon restrained by Secret Service agent Larry Buendorf. Fromme was sentenced to life in prison, but was released from custody on August 14, 2009, nearly three years after Ford's death.
Second attempt: Sara Jane Moore...

The attempted assassination of Ronald Reagan- I guess, by the liberal way of thinking, we should be blaming Jodie Foster for this attempt.

The attempted assassination of Richard Nixon-February 22, 1974: Samuel Byck apparently planned to kill Nixon by crashing a commercial airliner into the White House. Once he had hijacked the plane on the ground, he was informed that it could not take off with the wheel blocks still in place. He shot the pilot and copilot, then was shot by an officer through the plane's door window before killing himself. The events surrounding this assassination attempt were depicted in the film The Assassination of Richard Nixon.

The assassination on Abraham Lincoln-February 23, 1861: The Baltimore Plot was an alleged conspiracy to assassinate President-elect Abraham Lincoln en route to his inauguration. Allan Pinkerton, eponymous founder of the Pinkerton National Detective Agency, played a key role by managing Lincoln's security throughout the journey. Though scholars debate whether or not the threat was real, clearly Lincoln and his advisors believed that there was a threat and took actions to ensure his safe passage through Baltimore.
August 1864: As Lincoln was riding to the Soldiers' Home, a shot fired from the bushes caused his horse to bolt, and he lost his hat; when soldiers retrieved the hat, they found a bullet hole in it. The incident was hushed up, but Secretary of War Edwin Stanton augmented the heavy guard that accompanied the president.

I guess, according to liberal media logic, you can blame the assassination on John Wilkes Booth horse that brought him to the Ford Theatre.

The assault on Sarah Palin-We all know by now the disgusting, bias, childish and unprofessional way Palin has been targeted by the media (and because of this I fear an attempt on her life because of the left-wing hatred perpetuated by actual hate and threats) There was and is absolutely no connection to Palin or any other conservative voice and the events in Tucson perpetuated by Jared Loughner, yet the media still continue with this perverted charade.

Cafferty Doesn't Seem to Mind Libs Using "Blood Libel," But Not Palin

So Sarah Palin shot back at the lefty media for attacking her and disgustingly saying that she was the cause for the shooting in Tucson, Arizona. Apparently, she's not even allowed to do that. The left is all of a sudden in a tizzy because she used the term, "blood libel," that historically alludes to anti-Semitic myths about how Jews killed Christian children and then used their blood in religious rituals. By the way, ultra-hypocrite, Keith Olberloon bashed Palin for the timing of her remarks the day after attacking her silence on the shootings.

CNN's Jack Cafferty, on The Situation Room, went back to his Palin Derangement Syndrome when he admonished the former Alaska governor for using the "controversial" term.
"...But then she spoke, and it was just awful, defiant [and] inflammatory. Palin invoked the historically painful term, 'blood libel,' in attacking the media. This is a phrase used hundreds of years ago to describe anti-Semitic myths about how Jews killed children and then used their blood in religious ritual. NBC News correspondent Andrea Mitchell suggested the use of the phrase 'blood libel' was 'ignorant.' It was. A CBS analysis suggested Sarah Palin played 'the victim card.' She did. And ABC said Palin- quote, 'once again, has found a way to become part of the story,' unquote- true."

There it is again, right? Only conservatives can be "controversial."
Only Cafferty didn't bring up the fact, nor does he seem to mind that other anchors and/or journalists and Democrats have used the term in the past with no admonishment of any kind from the liberal media, of course.

On a different note, but same topic, Tucson sheriff and new darling of the media, Clarence Dupnik had numerous chances to arrest Jared Loughner for death threats against people years before the Tucson tragedy. Including threats against Congresswoman Giffords, yet failed to act. My question is, why isn't the media on him for this. Forget the fact for a moment that his actions (or lack thereof) indirectly caused the deaths of people, but the same media that has turned mute on this fact was a little more concerned about "warnings" when Bush supposedly knew about "future attacks on America" by al Queda. Liberal hypocrisy strikes again.
Just sayin'.

Tucson Tea Party Leader Recieves Death Threats

What else is new. Like Ann Coulter says, if you want to know what the moonbats are up to, just listen to what they're accusing you of.

Liberal projection strikes again.

Digusting, Reprehensible, Amateur

First the media disgustingly portrays Sarah Palin as the lone reason for the Tucson, Arizona shootings without any evidence whatsoever (as it turns out the actual murderer, Jared Loughner, had a personal vendetta against Gabrielle Giffords going back to at least early 2008 if not sooner) now they have the audacity to say she's playing the victim card and that she "once again found a way to put herself into the story."

ABC B.S. artists all.

NBC I expect nothing less (and certainly nothing more) from Andrea Mitchell.

CBS I expect even less from the network of Katie Couric and Dan Rather

She found a way? She did? If it wasn't for the moonbats on the left who call themselves journalists making up wild stories out of whole cloth trying to indict her for the incident, nobody would be mentioning her name.

Hey media, you disgusting pigs, if you're going to lay blame on anybody other than the actual guilty party (you know, the guy that did the actual shooting) why don't you try The Daily Kos' Markus Moulitsas? Why don't you try blaming yourselves for fomenting hatred towards conservatives with your ugly, transparent, vitriolic lies?

Palin has had numerous and mounting death threats towards her and her family on Twitter and Facebook and you don't care. I can almost guarantee you privately wish it would happen.

Now you say she's playing the victim card? The only victims are the people that Loughner shot, including an innocent beautiful nine-year-old girl. Idiots! You disgust me!

A Media Guide

Somehow, I don't think this is enough.

The Left

Tha's it. That's the title of this post, because this...

...is what constitutes liberal tolerance and non-violence. I don't recommend it, but if you go to the Facebook page, " "I hate it when I wake up and Sarah Palin is still alive," this is what you'll find.

Aren't they just lovely? Don't you just love their projection?

The President's Post Tucson Shooting Address

It took four days (some would say too long like others blamed a certain ex-president for doing) for him to officially react, but President Obama adressed the nation in a speech about not blaming any particular person, party, ideology or that there is no evidence whatsoever that the shooter, Jared Loughner was influenced by anything or anybody other than his own schizophrenia.

A very good speech by the President. In my opinion, probably the best speech he has given since becoming president, being that it was non-partisan and it doesn't appear, at first reading of the transcript, that he is using it for political gain. Although it might, but not what you'd expect. Out of this, he might get new-found respect from the right; if only for a limited time. I at least thought, for once, he sounded very presidential.

Sarah Palin had her own address concerning the disgusting implication by the lefty media on her being accessery to murder:

Apparently the left feels (according to the comments left on YouTube) she doesn't have the right to defend herself. They defend child rapists, drug runners and cop killers at every opportunity, but she can't have that right. How can anyone in their right mind say the left is tolerent?

Twitter Death Threats Against Palin and Her Family

Who's the violent-minded side of the political spectrum? Here's a hint, a left-wing whacko going by the name of "Jason Brown," says Sarah Palin, or a member of her family should be killed. Where's the media on...oh nevermind, they're too busy white-washing the violent intents of their own kind.

Paul Krugman Knows Nothing And Other Obvious Facts

The New York Times' resident so-called expert on economics (ooh he won a Pulitzer, ooh-so did Obama for doing nothing) said recentlty about the Tucson shootings and Sarah Palin's "target imagery,"

"All of this goes far beyond politics as usual…you’ll search in vain for anything comparably menacing, anything that even hinted at an appeal to violence, from members of Congress, let alone senior party officials….to find anything like what we’re seeing now you have to go back to the last time a Democrat was president."

I guess the libs like Chris Matthews and Kieth Olbermann (and all their idiot guests) conveniently forgot (more like omitted) to mention about liberal images like these:

John from Verum Serum had quite the wake up call for Krugman...(and where these maps came from after Krugman said "...you’ll search in vain" for anything like this on the liberal side of things) Man this guy is just too easy to disprove.
Bravo, John.

Media Campaign to Pin Tucson Shootings on Conservatives Flops

Much to the chagrin of the lefty media, all their attempts of portraying conservatives like Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh as the reason for the Tucson, Arizona shooting, most people polled (including admitted Democrats) say that such comments from these and other conservatives, be it radio and TV pundits, politicians or opinion writers, had nothing to do with it.

"There’s mounting evidence that the attack on Rep. Gabrielle Giffords wasn’t a political act but a plan by a disturbed high school dropout who had few friends and no clear agenda. …
Instead, Loughner may have had some self-generated dislike of Giffords that stemmed from when he first spoke to her at an event in 2007.

Court filings indicate the FBI seized papers from his home Saturday that talked of planning an assassination of Giffords and also included a letter she sent him four years ago thanking him for attending the event.

One Loughner friend, Bryce Tierney, told Mother Jones magazine that Loughner had harbored a grudge against Giffords for more than a year, and that he considered her a 'fake.'"

Sorry MSNBC. Sorry CNN, your ploy hasn't seemed to work. America sees through your BS. Of course, how many people could The Mess really convince when like 10 people watch them...half the time. That's 57% of America (at least those polled) say the lefty media is full of it. Well, duh.
You have to think that the other 43% are easily mislead, staunch liberals that would believe anything that those on A Mess NBC tell them.

Who's the violent-minded side of the political spectrum? Here's a hint, a left-wing whacko going by the name of "Jason Brown," says Sarah Palin, or a member of her family should be killed. Where's the media on...oh nevermind.

By the way, it appears the evidence against the shooter, Jared Loughner as a crack pot, goes all the way back to his high school days. He gave himself away as a loner and a mental case even then. Something the lefty media won't, can't, let you know.
The liberal thought process. Again, WTF???

So it appears that the average American is smarter than the Democrats and the media and less predisposed to be media sheep.

Surprised? Nah. Me neither.
