Joe Lieberman to Retire?

Joe Lieberman, the only former Democrat with any morals, besides a c0uple of Blue Dogs, and the man that was dumped from the Democrat Party for supporting John McCain in the 2008 general election, is reportedly going to hang them up. There is no word concerning an official statement of retirement, but why would he need a press conference to announce his plans for 2012 if he's going to do anything different than run for a eleventh term?
