Columbia University: FOX More Balanced than MSNBC

Really?  Duh!

As if anyone who watches more than five minutes of either network can tell you, raging lunatics camouflaged as "rhode scholars" and "reverends" preaching division and hate (mostly with red herrings as a starter point) does not a balanced "news network" make.

Now a new report comes out of Columbia University (not exactly a bastion of conservatism, that once invited Iran's former president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to speak on "non-existent" homosexuality) that surmises FOX News is more balanced than MSNBC.  Again, not exactly news given the last 14 years or so.  It's simple really.  Just count the number of lefties on FOX compared to the number of Righties on MSNBC.  I promise it will only take you a second or two to find the conservatives on MSNBC.  S.E. Cupp and maybe Joe Scarborough.  That's it.  On FOX, just off the top of my head?  Kirstin Powers, Sheppard Smith, Geraldo Rivera, Bob Beckel, Juan Williams, Susan Estrich and now James Carville.  I would say THAT is a little unbalanced on the FOX side.

Yeah, it's about ratings.  It is a business after all.  But just as a bonus, FOX still out-truths their rivals (if not even by a "smidgen")  Is it journalism or facts their viewers tune in to see?  Well, that's another discussion. But I can say with certainty that MSNBC viewers don't watch that network to be informed.  Otherwise, they would be.
