Left Wing Conspiracy Debunked-Media Mum
Playboy tried to"scoop" everyone else, because Lord knows Hugh Hefner and his bunnies are the bastion of objective investigative journalism.
Unfortunately for Hefner News Monthly, this "story" has been thoroughly debunked, again. But, as the lefty doctrine goes: when their lies are exposed, keep on pumping it out. Who knows? Some kid may just believe it for the next 20 years. That's what they count on. The young, impressionable, uneducated, misinformed, and ignorant to perpetuate these liberal and left-wing pathetic attempts at re-writing history. It's nothing new. They've been doing since they made it their personal vendetta to bring down Richard Nixon nearly 40 years ago. They have made it their mission to shape America in their own twisted, socialistic, image.
They're doing a fine job of it, by the way. At least to the naked political eye.

The original story, wherein the author says, "What we discovered is that Santelli's "rant" was not at all spontaneous as his alleged fans claim, but rather it was a carefully-planned trigger for the anti-Obama campaign," and is covered here. Unfortunately, Playboy must have realized that their story itself was bunk, or that they were exposed enough to realize that this may play on their credibility, because the link is down now.
