NBC Throws Edited Zimmerman Tape to the Wolves

NBC has fired the the producer responsible for the bogus edit job on the George Zimmerman 9-1-1 call. I doubt he or she (who shall remain nameless, because NBC refuses to identify the person) was the only one responsible for the obviously intentionally edited Zimmerman tape. He/she could be though. I mean maybe he/she was the only person to say, "Ah, not good enough. We need to make Zimmerman look like a guilty racist. Cut the dispatcher's actual question." But like it's been asked before, isn't Brian Williams the managing editor of NBC News? He had absolutely nothing to do with this? Somethings amiss here. Maybe they allowed a producer to retire that was going to retire anyway. Or maybe he was near the end of his contract and decided to take the heat for Williams. They don't say who it is, so hey why not, right?
