Bill Clinton and Anderson Cooper

So Bill Clinton decided to give cable television another try. This time however, it was within the very friendly confines of CNN, on 360 with Anderson Cooper.

Asked about how he felt about the New York Times article from MoveOn.org, "General Betray Us", Clinton once again let the baseless accusations fly, at the same time not so carefully hiding his incompetence once again. But, unlike before, this time he wasn't accusing the host of having "a smirk" telling him, "you think you're so clever" and without pointing figures (at least literally) in the host's face.

No, this time he felt quite at home inside the walls of his CNN allies. However, he did decide to once again cast stones at the Republican party without any fear of hard-hitting follow-up questions. I mean I don't have anything really negative to say about Anderson Cooper. Overall, he's o.k. and his only real detriment is that he is a liberal and does work for the Clinton News Network.

Once again, Clinton was supposed to talk about his "global initiative" but it yet again, disintegrated into a mud-slinging towards the Republicans.

-He mentioned an ad the Reps used featuring Vietnam War veteran, Max Cleveland, who had lost "half his body" in that conflict.

Cleveland voted hard left for budget spending, among other things. He was a bad senator, that's why he was criticized. By the way, Cleveland himself said he didn't deserve his Silver Star and other battlefield commissions. If he lost his limbs and more for his country, with all due respect, I disagree.

-He claimed the Republican outrage over the Patraeus-MoveOn ad was "feigned" and "disingenuous".
Well he would know. But if he wants to lie about the sincere outrage of anyone on the right about the MoveOn fiasco, this isn't the guy who should be mentioning "bait and switch". Calling Monica/Afghanistan cruise missles (that hit an empty camp)

-He wants you to believe that the Swift Boat ads that (thankfully) sunk John Kerry's presidential aspirations were funded by the Republicans. Not to swift (pardon the pun) on that one there, Billy. It's a matter of public record that those ads were funded by private enterprises. Anything else, B.J.?

It's amazing, the detailed time-lines this guy can pull out of a hat with amazing "accuracy" when he wants to. This from the same guy who couldn't remember if he was ever alone in a room with several different women. This creep has the nerve to say anything derogatory about the military. This pot-smoking draft-dodger defames soldiers every chance he gets ( like most of the left) Instead of serving his country, he chooses to go to England, marches against the Vietnam War and then tries vainly to sound empathetic? Amazing. Willy and Shrillary, along with their Clintonistas, really never cease to amaze me.
Well, at least he defended John Kerry. Yay.
