Bobby Jindal's Response

For the official opposition's response, the RNC chose Louisiana governor, Bobby Jindal to rebuke the President's speech to Congress:




Not to bad, but not too good, either. Not very inspiring, though. He's right, just not very Reagan-esque. MSNBC's Rachael Maddow said that invoking Hurricane Katrina as analogy of Republican ways of moving forward left her speechless. Somehow I doubt that, but she was obviously in her self-righteous, annoying way, thinking Jindal was speaking of the immediate aftermath of he disaster. I do believe Maddow is a twit. Jindal was clearly referring to how the infrastructure of the city and state was surprisingly quick, actually, put forth back into the state of the living.

Did you notice that A Mess NBC cut that little "Oh God," love-tap out. Why? Nobody will say anything about it.

UPDATE: It was Matthews. And his excuse was...?
Oh, I see. Jindal's set was to blame. O.k. Barack Obama gives his acceptance speech on a stage that's supposed to represent some Greek pantolathon, but Bobby Jindal can't make a speech in the foyer of the Louisiana Governor's mansion without Matthews making some stupid comment. I swear, this guy never ceases to be an unprofessional goof.

And then there's this: Is Matthews a closet racist? He would be labled as much if he was someone else and made this comment. But he's a raging liberal, so...
