A Quick Round-Up
So, I'm back from Florida and boy, have I missed a lot. I didn't bother to really keep abreast of anything while I was gone. I was too busy unwinding, para-sailing and shopping. In short, I couldn't be bothered to pay attention to anything. I've actually been back for about five days as of this writing, but I wasn't ready to jump back into reality. I'm still not really. So, like I've done before when I've missed a few days of news items, here are some headlines and comments:
Obama Says Iran's energy Concerns Legitimate
The number one problem with this is why would Obama give more time and opportunity to a rogue nation, with clearly insane leaders, to build their nuclear arsenal? We know they're doing it, we know they'll use it. What in God's name is the president doing? First he demands that Israel stop all building of settlements in Gaza, giving Hezbollah more unwarranted legitimacy in the eyes of their followers (namely the Middle Eastern press, Jimmy Carter acolytes and the BBC) now he is giving Iran and it's nuclear endeavors more time to build an arsenal to destroy Israel. I know for all you anti-Semites out there, you would love to see that happen, while claiming a terror-sponsoring nation like Iran has the right to nuclear energy.
For all you dimwits out there who actually think that is an legitimate argument, let me reiterate:
One, Iran is an oil-rich nation. Why do they need nuclear power? Two, they have stated publicly on multiple occasions, unrepentantly, that Israel "should be wiped off the map," and three, countries like France who have nuclear energy and a nuclear arsenal haven't threatened to use it against another country.

Obama Picks His Choice For Supreme Court
Some conservatives even like her, but you have to wonder about her, "Policy is made from the bench," comment. A strong indicator of why Obama chose her I believe, given his opinion on the role of the courts. And why is a Latino female more capable of making better choices than a white male? (and since when does the language you speak dictate what race you are?) Seeing that America is still predomimately caucasion (to the disdain of many, I know) and Christian, how does this have any bearing on how she will interpret the law. Or will she be allowed to make the law, like all liberal judges? She already gave away her tell on this one. Don't worry lefties, she'll be confirmed.

Al-Qaeda Trying to Distract from Obama Speech: White House
While the president is trying to patch things up (through Bush's fault, of course) al-Qaeda is showing just how much Obama is loved by everyone and how much just him being in the White House makes a difference on our enemies. Nevermind that he was burned in effigy two days into his presidency. But, we all pretty much have to be with him on this one I would think, aside from his placating.
The Ultimate Opportunist is Now a Muslim? (again)
Ok, let me get this straight. During the primaries (and again during the general election) the media refused and some even down right got upset if Barack Obama's middle name, Hussein, was mentioned, saying it had no baring on his run or that it was even racist (of course) to do so. The same went with his caucasian roots. When it suited him to be "multi-racial," he ran with it. But once he needed the black vote in the election, all of a sudden he was just "black."
Now, it's ok again to mention his middle name because he's trying to gain the trust of the Muslim world? What's with this guy? I guarantee it, when his pilgrimage, oops I mean trip, to the Middle East is done, it'll be taboo to mention that the H in BHO means Hussein again.
Oh yeah. Does he even realize the United States is probably the largest Christian country in the world? Or is he ashamed of that fact? Hmm. Didn't he answer that by covering up any semblance of Christ at some university somewhere lately?
Late Term Abortion Doctor Gunned Down at Church
Does every conservative really have to go out of their way to condemn this crime at every turn? Obviously we don't agree with it. It's pretty abhorent that the man was gunned down in church in front of his family and friends. Even though this guy made millions killing over 60, 000 unborn children, in the third trimester mind you, nobody in their right mind would say murder is a good thing. But of course Janet Nopalitano and the "fear-mongers" of the left have already been using this to attack "right-wing extremists" like gun-carrying, constitutionally afforded patriots, Fox News (especially Bill O'Reilly, who once again the loudest complaints come from the lefty whack-jobs that have never seen his show) and any conservative that is pro-life. They're simply using this tragedy as political fodder and you, me and they know it. If these people are so worried about the sanctity of like and are so righteous, where are all their marches, tears and candlelight vigils for the hundreds of thousands, nay, millions of murdered unborn children? Oh right, they save those for the child-rapists and murderers on death row. Sorry about that. Silly me.

Look, again, no one agrees with this. But, to even think this guy represents conservative views or those of the pro-life movement in general is just as heinous as the crime itself. I know the left is full of hate and is probably almost glad this happened just to pin something like this on the right and those "right-wing extremists," but get a grip Loonies.

In contrast, there has been relatively little coverage about the killing of Army Private William Long and the wounding of Private Quinton Ezeagwula outside the recruiting center in Little Rock, despite the fact that the alleged shooter was a convert to Islam who police say probably had political and religious motives for the attack." -Fox News
Plus the fact that this this guy had a record and history of violence long before this. Anyways, I thought guys like these were heroes at your posh Manhatten parties.

Funny how no one is reporting this, huh? Let's see... abortion doctor killed, Obama in Mid East, yeah, no reason to report this whatsoever. By the way, these young men had not been deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan, or anywhere else for that matter. So what is there crime Code Pinkos?

And just so you don't complain about how biased, or "racist" I am towards the president, because everybody knows you can't say anything negative about "The One," with being labelled a racist, here's a little kudo nod to Obama for not (at least completely) playing along with Brian Williams's "Let's get Bush" ploy.
