More Anti-Christian "News" from the Left

With the recent massacre in Norway by a lone "momma's boy," the mainstream media has made a point of underlining the fact that shooter Anders Breivik was a Christian "fundamentalist," yet had absolutely no problem with hiding the identification of obvious Muslim crazies in recent years.

It's funny, because as I read the MSM reports of the horrific incident, I noticed just that. The media not only had no problem in identifying Breivik's Christianity and "fundamentalism" and anti-Muslim tendencies but they seemed to go out of their way to over-indulge themselves on this point. They do this even when the suspects are not Christian-even when the suspect themselves say they're not. Not much like, but exactly like Oklahoma bomber, Timothy McViegh, who although wrote a letter claiming to be agnostic, the media continue to this day label him as a "extreme right-wing Christian."

As this true to fact article by NewsBuster's Scott Whitlock points out (and the media continually denies) the MSM wasn't so quick to identify Muslim murderers and suspects as followers of the Islamic faith. Another case in point.

The biased and agenda-driven media continue to disgust me.

UPDATE: Well, well. It appears Breivik was NOT a Christian as the MSM hoped he would be.

The overarching theme of “2083” (Breivik's "manifesto") is that he, and his confreres in the “PCCTS Knights Templar,” are modern-day Crusaders. They are not what most other Christians would call Christian; Anders is very explicit that having a relationship with Jesus Christ is not his thing. He’s a “cultural” Christian, and the PCCTS Knights Templar (expansion of PCCTS below) are happy to accept members who are, in Breivik’s words, “Christian agnostics” and “Christian atheists.” He uses “Christian” as a modifier signifying primarily Western/European cultural identity; he does speak of brotherhood with African and Asian Christians, but the context of the references is clearly cultural.
H/T to HotAir.

Nothing more to say.
