Birthers are Besmirched, 9/11 Truthers are Given Credibility by NYT
Here's one for fun:
When all the nutbags, who have since been ordained as "9/11 Truthers" by the media and bloggers,were calling for congressional investigations and the impeachment of President Bush, they were taken semi-seriously by a lot of the MSM and especially left-wing, anti-Bush radio hosts. Now there are the same whack-jobs (this time, a few right-wing radio and television hosts; but even still lefties) that are claiming that President Obama is not an American citizen.
Now of course, this is a bunch of crap, but how come the "paper of record," the New York Times bashes these "Birthers," yet gave even one sentence of credibility to the "Truthers?" It's all nonsense, and there's not a scrap of real, hard evidence proving either of them. So why the discrepancy? Well, we actually do know the answer as to why the same newspaper that allowed a digusting full-page ad by MoveOn.org eviscerating Gen. David Petraeus, who told our enemies about secret prisons, who led the charge on the lies and hate of President Bush and are constantly apologizing for the follies and dishonesty of President Obama is all of a sudden striking down any type of conspiracy theorists related to anything to do with B.O.
Because it's B.O, that's why.
Oh, and they're blaming Rush Limbaugh of course. Not CNN's Lou Dobbs, Not Michael Savage, but Rush Limbaugh...again.
And although, like I said these people are completely nuts, I have to agree with Dobbs when he asks, "Why doesn't President Obama just produce his birth certificate? Wouldn't this all go away real quick like?
Actually while he's at it, I'd like to see...
Hey, I'm just askin'. Is it any wonder that his legal team has been paid over one million dollars so far, to stop anyone from seeing any of his actual identification documents?

- Columbia University senior thesis, "Soviet Nuclear Disarmament"
- Occidental College records, including financial aid that he may have received
- Punahou School records, where Mr. Obama attended from the fifth grade until he finished high school
- Noelani Elementary School records, where Barack Obama attended kindergarten (according to the Hawaii Department of Education, students must submit a birth certificate to register -- but parents may bring a passport or student visa if the child is from a foreign country)
- Complete files and schedules of his years as an Illinois state senator from 1997 to 2004
- Obama's client list from during his time in private practice with the Chicago law firm of Davis, Miner, Barnhill and Gallard
- Illinois State Bar Association records
- Baptism records
- Obama/Dunham marriage license
- Obama/Dunham divorce documents
- Soetoro/Dunham marriage license
- Soetero/Dunham Adoption records
Hey, I'm just askin'. Is it any wonder that his legal team has been paid over one million dollars so far, to stop anyone from seeing any of his actual identification documents?

Because you'd find a way to consider them all forged, that's why. Next question.
Ok. My next question would be why don't you actually read the entire post before you lump me in with the people I just said were out of their minds?
How about another? Are you pre-emting an apology for all these documents that every other president has come forward with?
Wouldn't all these questions just simply disappear if he just produced these documents? It's that simple. But of course, I'm not allowed to ask questions of the Chosen One.
