Morgan, Dodd to Retire

Democratic senators, Byron Dorgan (ND) and Chris Dodd (CT) are set to retire before the 2010 Congressional elections. Whatever their reasons, I'm sure it's to maintain a Democrat in their seats (as little time that will be) instead of chancing an election in which they are projected to and almost assuredly they will lose those seats to Republicans. Well, that and the fact that Dodd is in bed with AIG (among others) and may have a little splainin' to do. Rememember the whole Freddie Mac/Fannie May debacle? Well one cause down. I wonder if Bawny Fwank has had any thoughts?

Once again, the liberal members of the press are calling Dorgan, with a record like this, a "moderate:"

A 100 percent rating for 2008 from NARAL Pro-Choice America
A 90 percent rating for 2008 from Americans for Democratic Action
A 100 percent rating for 2008 from the AFL-CIO
A grade of A from the National Education Association for 2007-2008
A 100 percent rating for 2007-2008 from the American Civil Liberties Union
An 8 percent rating for 2008 from the American Conservative Union
A grade of D for 2008 from the National Taxpayers Union.

Yeah, right.
