NBC's David Gregory (now infamous for the start of the "Teabagger" label) doesn't know his political history it seems. In 2007 then-Senator Barack Obama was one of 37 Democrats to help pass an amendment to the proposed immigration overhaul that would end a temporary worker program after five years in an ill-fated immigration reform proposal. And since funding for border security has declined since the Democrats took control of Congress and the current batch of Democrat race-baitors cry foul of anything anybody brings up to toughen immigration laws (you know for law-breaking "mostly peaceful" illegals and their supporters) you figure the all-knowing Gregory would know these things.
