Giant Mosque to Be Built Next to Ground Zero

Does anybody else think this is just one big slap in the face? No one thinks this is insensitive? No PC police on patrol here. Nevermind the connotations, the insult to the victims families, the dereliction of any common sense. It's all about appeasement and apathy...to the wrong people.

Of course it's racist to condemn this. Of course it's intolerance. Opposing it has absolutely nothing to do with concern or outright decency. Nah. Everything is fine with it. [sarc.]

Some supporters clearly have it going on upstairs and are not misinformed or ignorant what-so-ever.
Matt Migeal, 39, who was selling 9/11 photo books in front of the World Trade Center on Wednesday, also thought it was good for the mosque to move in.
"This didn't happen because of Muslim people," Migeal said, gesturing toward the site. "Terrorism and Islam have nothing to do [with each other]."

See. All is well.

A commenter had a good one:
"...how about a Nazi memorial to brave Waffen SS soldiers next to the Holocaust museum? Wouldn't that be "tolerant?"

UPDATE: Families oppose...
