The More Things Change...

A couple of years ago Christopher Hitchens was a guest on Real Time with Bill Maher, and he rightfully told Maher that his audience is essentially made up of sheeple and will applaude at anything Maher says or does. This is why most of Maher's guests that happen to be Democrat politicians and far-left liberal celebrities feel safe on the show, because they can say any uninformed, dillusional, hate-filled comment, without hardly any opposing views (or histrical context and correction) and the audience will salivate like Pavlov's dog.

He was and is right. And nothing's changed.
