Obama Signs On to Another Bush Policy
For a guy who ran on being "not Bush" in his presidential campaign, he's sure initiating more than a few of his policies. Why? Because they worked. And to his credit he signed a new SWIFT deal (sharing banking data to investigate suspected terrorist financing) with the European Union.
Now that everyone involved has apparently gotten over their fear of "invasion of privacy," will the New York Times and other news outlets worry about "ordinary" European citizens losing their freedom the way they played the fear card about American liberties with the Patriot Act?
Ooh, the far-left is going to really hate him now, huh? Go figure.
