Republicans and Democrats Reach Tax Cut Extention Deal

Amid Democrat resistance, President Barack Obama announced agreement with Republicans Monday night to extend expiring tax cuts for all Americans, renew jobless benefits and grant a one-year reduction in Social Security taxes for millions.

In an obvious partisan speech to the American people and to ensure them he thinks anything that goes wrong with this deal is the Republicans fault, the president announced the deal.

Charles Krauthammer feels the same way and points out how obvious the speech was catering to the far-left.

The deal also includes renewed jobless benefits and a one-year reduction in Social Security taxes for millions.
