Gunman Attempts Assassination Against Congresswoman Giffords

A 22-year-old man has been arrested after walking into a Tucson, Arizon ashopping center and began a murderous rampage; killing six and wounding 14, including the original target, Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords (D), who survived being shot through the head.

The accused, Jared Loughner, apparently enraged with mistrust of the government shot Giffords, 40, in the back of the head, but she survived and is now in a drug-induced coma.

All prayers and condolences go out to Gifford's friends and family and to those who lost their lives in this catastrophe.

But once again, the left is quick to blame conservatives and their "vitriol" in this matter. Again , the lefty media is quick to blame conservative "hate speech" by Sarah Palin and talk-radio. Apparently, Paul Krugman is now doubling as a psychologist.

Nevermind the guy was a Democrat (these shooters always are, but let's not expect the lefty media to tell you that, even though they try and hope that these types of shooters turn out to be right-wingers, Tea Partiers, etc) but let's forget about he actions of the shooter himself and blame the right again, even though in every press article it clearly mentions that authorities have "no motive for the shooting." Of course, the left being the collective bunch of hypocrites that they are, won't remind you of Markos Moulitsas's "targeting" of Gifford herself in 2008.

"Not all of these people will get or even deserve primaries, but this vote certainly puts a bulls eye on their district."

"Giffords was one of 20 Democrats whose districts were lit up in cross hairs on a Sarah Palin campaign Web site last spring,” CBS’s Nancy Cordes declared."
CNN's Jessica Yellin noted "We don't know the motive” before she proceeded to raise how “on Twitter and Facebook, there is a lot of talk, in particular, about Sarah Palin.” On Sunday’s Today, leading into a clip about Palin, NBC’s Kelly O’Donnell asserted: “Giffords, a conservative Democrat, was concerned about heated campaign rhetoric from the Tea Party.”

Of course there's no mention by the left of President Obama's own rhetoric and no call for him to "tone it down" or even apologize for "his part"in this.

The left always say they like to think for themselves, but when their followers actually go out and commit acts of violence, they act surprised and actually angry at the right when a left-winger shoots another left-winger (Although Giffords is considered a centrist) it's somehow the rights fault. Right-wing "hate" makes lefties shoot other lefties? Maybe that one will make sense tomorrow.

Chris Matthews, Sgt. Schultz and the rest of the gang at The Mess should have a field day with this one. Again, there will be no mention of Loughner being a Democrat or how this is what they do. There will be no mention of how another out-of-their-mind left-winger took upon him or herself to harm right-wingers or government employees. Only that it's right-wing talk-radio hosts, pundits and the Tea Party's fault. Not the shooter himself or the insanity that passes for left-wing ideology; just people like Rush Limbaugh and Sarah Palin.

Like a commentor said,
"In today's politically correct climate, it would be so insensitive to blame the poor misguided murderer. Therefore, we must blame Bush, Limbaugh, Palin, Beck, Boehner, Fox News, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, etc., etc. and then all evil conservatives everywhere. Then blame the Glock, the large capacity clip, global warming, the falling dollar, his mother, his teachers, his professors, the U.S. Army, but we can never blame the deranged leftwing piece of feces that planned this carnage beforehand - that would make us judgemental...because, when all is said and done, MSNBC will have Sgt. Shultz or Keefey Olberdung proclaim this lunatic the real victim."
