Matthews Admits His Viewers Dumber than Palin

Well, sort of. He claims that his show is a "serious" one and that doesn't attract people who listen to Sarah Palin, because they don't read newspapers or watch serious shows like his.

Excuse me. I just had to clean up the milk that just came out of my nose.

In other words, if people don't watch his show they're more informed.

Is this guy on crack? Sorry. Stupid question. Of course he is. But even that doesn't explain how 1) How can he claim with even the most minuscule of credibility to say his show is a serious one? And 2) How does this ignorant narcissist know what people are reading or not reading?

Remember: Matthews thinks that, "...she's talking to people who don't read newspapers, don't pay attention to serious television broadcasts, whether the Lehrer Hour or anything like it or even this program, don’t pay attention to anything that’s even in the middle, who don’t have any effort at all to learn anything, believe her when she says they're keeping the truth from us when the people who believe her are making absolutely no effort to find out what the truth is. So they’re willing to believe it’s somebody else’s fault. She’s in an interesting little game she plays with people."

It's good to know that Matthews has been designated our royal thinker, what he thinks of 90% of the population's intelligence and that his liberal opinion is the only one that matters. But then again, as a commenter said, that's the liberal creed afterall.
