Political Correctness Allowed Ft. Hood Shootings

After the FBI was aware that Maj. Nidal Hasan was in contact with al Quaeda, none were too quick to question him given his ethnicity. Thirty-two dead later and no one questions the protocol.

In this column by HotAir.com's John Sexton, it is revealed in a 91-page report, entitles "A Ticking Time Bomb," that "confusion between two competing FBI Joint Terrorism Task Forces (JTTF’s) resulted in neither one taking action..."

"The JTTF that had reviewed the initial [REDACTED] communications dismissed the second JTTF’s work as “slim” but eventually dropped the matter rather than cause a bureaucratic confrontation."

Ah, political correctness. Is there nothing it can't do?
