Liberal Powers Thinks Americans Should Worry About Islamic Power in Cairo

Kirsten Powers, probably along with Juan Williams, is the most level-headed liberal media member that both the left and the right give creedence to. At least I do. Although she doesn't come right out and say that there will be a Islamic caliphate, or jihad, she does put forth that Americans are being naive about the Muslim Brotherhood and that they should worry about ‘Islamic power in Cairo.'

Mubarek has to go. This much is clear. But what's next? Do you chance having a fundamentalist Islamic government in Egypt? One that will not honor the peace accord signed by former Egyptian president, Anwar Sadat? The same Anwar Sadat that was assassinated by the Muslim Brotherhood for making that exact deal with Israel? Will this bring on another war with Israel? Or is this all much ado about nothing and everything will progress in America's favor with her security interests intact?
