The Fascist Doctrine Has a Baby Sister

It's name is the "Drudge Tax," and it's purpose is to have the government enforce a "media overhaul" in the form of copyright licenses so web sites like the Drudge Report, Digg and others couldn't freely link relevant news stories, not to mention a new consumer tax. The Federal Trade Commission has more bright ideas, such as "offering tax exemptions to news organizations, establishing an AmeriCorps for reporters and creating a national fund for local news organizations." Essentially paying "reporters" to do the governments bidding, while leaving so-called citizen journalists and their readers in the dark about relevant news stories and alternative view points.
