Let's see...the surge isn't working? um..
-Violence is down 80% in Baghdad.
-More markets are open and people feel safe enough to roam the streets with their children to go to fairs, shopping mosques, churches, etc.
-The Iraqi parliament has stood firm in their unity even after recent terrorist events.
-Prime Minister Maliki has warned and asked the American and caolition forces not to leave and that more and more Iraqi soldiers, police and security forces are graduating frm their training schools.
-More schols and hospitals continue to be built, despite their targeting (and failure of it) by insurgents.
-Contrary to Reid's lies, electricity and clean water is on the rise (opproximately 42% than it was in February)
-Add in the fact that most of the forces that will make up the majority of the surge won't be in place until June. That's right, success and progress with only about 30% of the surge troops in place.
-The Iraqi Government Is Meeting Its Pledge To Boost Force Levels In Baghdad. For every American combat soldier deployed to Baghdad, there are now about three members of the Iraqi Security Force.
-American Troops Are Now Living And Working Side-By-Side With Iraqi Forces At Small Neighborhood Posts Called Joint Security Stations, And Cooperation And Tips Have Increased. Late last year, most American troops were at bases on the outskirts of the city. They would move into Baghdad to help Iraqi forces clear neighborhoods during the day and then return to their bases at night, allowing the insurgents and death squads to move back to the neighborhoods. Troops in Baghdad are changing their positions in the city.
-There are more than two dozen Joint Security Stations located throughout Baghdad, and more are planned.
-Iraqi and American forces are working together to clear out and secure neighborhoods.
-If a heavy fight breaks out, American forces step in and Iraqi forces learn valuable skills fighting shoulder-to-shoulder with our troops.
-Iraqi And American Forces Have Received More Tips In The Past Three Months Than During Any Three-Month Period On Record. By living in Baghdad neighborhoods, American forces get to know the culture and concerns of local residents, and local residents get to know them and gain confidence and trust. Many of the tips received in the past three months have led to successful operations against terrorists and insurgents.
-Because of uprise of security, thus Iraqi ciizens feeling more safe and confidence in the willingness of the coalition forces making then so, tips from them have resulted in the flushing out and killing of insurgents, the discovery and destruction of bomb-making factories (including IEDs) and weapon caches.
-Not to mention blogs from Iraqi citizens telling us how respectful the U.S. soldiers are towards them and that indeed, the surge is working. Ask them. But make sure you ask the ones that are really paying attention. Not the ones that are merely saying, "War is bad, war sucks, people are dying" No kidding. It is a war you know.

U.S. Senators taking the side of the enemy and half-witted television and movie celebrities accusing the President of the United States of actually murdering nearly 3,000 of his own citizens; there may be some extreme actions needed. What they are, I have no idea, but something has to be done about these traitors. Can you think of a more appropriate term for them?
He won't believe what Patraeus tells him about Iraq? WHAT??? Doesn't that plainly tell you what his plan is? No matter what happens, he wants defeat! Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the Democrats need to get rid of this guy. It won't happen, because he
speaks on behalf of the Democrats. It's sad, reprehensible,irresponsible and politically
