Al Sharpton Is a Fraud and a Liar-DUH!

Al Sharpton is indeed the biggest fraud and race-baitor going today. O.k, he's tied with Michael Moore. He is indeed what Michelle Malkin calls, "a hatemongering racial hustler."

Sharpton, who by the way, wishes to be called reverend; even though there is absolutely no record of him being ordained by any church on the planet, recently ostracised veteran New York radio host, Don Imus for uttering racial epitaphs against the Rutger's women's basketball team. Now let me be clear, what Imus said was wrong and was in fact racist. However the man that has the most to say about this and who Imus (and for some reason a lot of other people)feels the man who things that must be made right with is one of the most racist people going.

Sharpton is in no way, shape, or form a leader of the black community. If he is, then the black community (I refuse to say "African-American" because that is just some term that has been shoved down our throats by Jesse Jackson-who also should not be commenting on morality) is in deep, deep,doo-doo . I can think of plenty of better qualified people to call a leader of the black community, Bill Cosby for one. Believe me, there are a whole slew of black citizens that feel the same way. Another high-profile black radio commentator and former attorney who has come out publicly against "men" like Sharpton and Jackson on many occasions is Larry Elder. Of course, because of this, Elder has been unfairly labeled a "traitor" or "Uncle Tom" with many in the black community.

I feel compelled to second Imus' statement on Sharpton:
When is he going to apologize to the three INNOCENT members of the Duke lacrosse team that he shamelessly and callously labeled as racist rapists well before any investigation into the alleged crime was complete, or even before it started?

When will Sharpton apologize about anything that he has said and done?

Anybody that cares to, will remember Sharpton's comments about New York prosecutor, Steven Pagones, in relation to the bogus rape and kidnapping case of then-15-year-old, TawanaBrawley. Brawley was found four days after missing from her home in upstate New York, covered in dog feces with racial slurs written on her body. She claimed that at least two and possibly six white men, one of them carrying a badge, had repeatedly raped her in the woods. She refused to meet with prosecutors and Sharpton and a couple of now disbarred radical lawyers named Alton Maddox (who was disbarred after being accused of billing and abandoning clients in an unrelated series of incidents) and Vernon Mason took up her cause. Sharpton and Brawley’s lawyers cowardly accused “on 33 separate occasions” that Pagones “had kidnapped, abused and raped” Brawley. Sharpton also compared then-state Attorney General Robert Abrams, a Jew, to Adolf Hitler. All three linked then-Gov. Mario Cuomo to organized crime and the Ku Klux Klan.

To make a very long story short, the Grand Jury found no evidence of sexual assault ever taking place. Plus several classmates in sworn affidavits and testimony said they had witnessed Brawley at one or more parties during the time of her alleged disappearance. In other words,
she lied. Why? Because she wanted to anger or show up her stepfather.

Brawley and her mother were issued subpoenas to testify in front of the grand jury, and refused to do so. This may have prompted Brawley and her family to move hastily to Virginia, taking with them a "defense fund" of $300,000 which had been contributed by well-wishers. There is
still an outstanding warrant in New York against the two for ignoring the subpoena. Sharpton or his attorneys have yet to apologize for the incident.

Then there was the 1991 Crown Heights race riots in Brooklyn that erupted after a seven-year old black child named Gavin Cato was accidentally killed by a car driven by a Hasidic Jew. Sharpton, in all his race-baiting wisdom, indirectly caused the stabbing death of Jewish scholar, Yankel Rosenbaum. A mob of black residents chased Rosenbaum, a visiting scholar studying the Holocaust, to a street corner, where he was stabbed. Some in the angry mob shouted, "There's a Jew! Get him." It seem, in part, that it was Sharpton's irresponsible comments that caused 22-year-old, Lemrick Nelson, Jr. to take the law into his own hands. Nelson was heard to say at the ensuing trial that he was "a victim". Sharpton felt he held no responsibility in that scenario and again, did not apologize, even if for the sake of restoring calm and order.

There's the 1995 arson attack on a Jewish Harlem jeweler that resulted in 8 deaths. That attack came months after Sharpton made remarks about the "white interloper". (He later apologized, saying that he wouldn't use the word white again in that context.)

I have to interject with this: Does anybody remember this jem?
"White folks were in caves while black folks were building empires"
By guess who? That's not just racially disgusting, but historically inaccurate. Surprised?

What about calling the men responsible for the 1989 rape and beating of Trisha Meili in the notorious Central Park rape case. According to Sharpton, these men were entirely innocent (again without any sort of completed investigation) while Miss Trisha Meili was "probably promiscuous" and was "just as much to blame" Meili was bludgeoned, raped, and left to die. She was in a coma for 12 days. But apparently she deserves no empathy or compassion because she was a white, female jogger in Central Park. How stupid of her. As it turns out, the "Central Park Five" as they've come to be known, may have been innocent as convicted serial rapist and murderer, Matias Reyes, told New York prison officials that he alone raped the Meili. DNA testing confirmed his story. But this was after the damage had been done to Meili's reputation and that of her family by Sharpton and his minions.

Most recently of course, there was Sharpton's tirade against the three Duke University lacrosse players (who turned out to be innocent and as of this morning, were proclaimed as such by North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper.

Of course Jesse Jackson said,
"...fantasies of white men being with black women is not only ugly, but not illegal..." (like it should be I guess)

Sharpton (as always)used the situation to further his own cause and agenda without the slightest bit of honesty about his own past indiscretions.

To round this up, I've found a post by a blogger known as NC Tigah on TigerDroppings.com,

The difference between Imus and Jackson/Sharpton --- Jackson/Sharpton were being serious, claim to believe what they said, and were trying to influence a process that could have ultimately ended with innocent kids serving major jail time. Seems very different and much more serious than the Imus miscue. Ramifications of Imus = offended players.
Ramification of Jackson and Sharpton = Duke players receiving death threats, Duke campus invaded by activists, inflammation of race and economic relations in Durham, property damage, threats of retaliatory rape against white female Duke students, etc. Will Sharpton, Jackson and other inciters be publicly criticized a la Imus?

"It is fascinating that a creep like Al Sharpton would still receive any media attention following horrid examples of poor judgement like the Tawana Brawley affair. Now Duke Rape? And this goon had the unmitigated gall to act as judge, jury, and executioner when he interviewed Imus? Imus did something stupid and thoughtless. It was a mistake, perhaps even an unforgivable one. He recognized that and is contrite. ForSharpton , Jackson and others, their actions in the Duke Rape scandal were deliberate, cruel, malicious, and racist. They are not contrite and if given a chance would do the same thing again tomorrow. Where does it stop?"

I couldn't have said it better myself.

Other disgusting and never paid for comments by "Reverend" Al Sharpton:

Calling the Jews in Crown Heights "diamond merchants" and he said, "If the Jews
want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house."

Addressing the aforementioned Central Park rape case,
"The boyfriend did it!" and denouncing the victim as "a whore!"

Addressing the 1995 Freddy's Fashion fiasco:
"…There is a systematic and methodical strategy to eliminate our people from doing business off 125th Street. I want to make it clear…that we will not stand by and allow them to move this brother so that some white interloper can expand his business."

And who can forget this little tidbit?

Also, check out this article from Larry Elder.

And who can forget...

FIRE AL SHARPTON!!
