Even Better Rationale
This one is even better; more concise and articulate. Kind of puts me in mind of the Loose Change boys, seeing that although Bush is some evil fascist war-monger, who will stop at nothing (including murder apparently) why are they still breathing-or at least free?

Here we go again, someone calling President Bush a fascist, & I'm shocked to see this time it is our hero, BathTubBoy. Let me explain something to you Keith, you are an Ivy Leaguer, so I know you are smart enough to understand what I'm gonna say.
If Bush & Cheney were really the evil neocon fascists that you & the other BDS infected morons in the media believe them to be, someone would have dragged your @$$ away to an "undisclosed location". The very fact that your brand of intolerant anger has been allowed on the air & that NOTHING has happened to you, or others like Randi Rhodes, who got beat up by neocon thugs who wanted to shut her up...it had nothing to do with being sh!+ faced & falling down flat on her face. Remember that one?
Look BathTubBoy, the left wingers are far & away the fascist element in America today. Most "progressives" & some "liberals" are much more likely to try to shut down speech they don't like. Yes there are "conservatives" who will make noise about something they don't like, but usually the most they will do is boycott those responsible. "Progressives" & some "liberals" are usuaully the people who will legislate against those resposible. So much for the 1st Amendment & the free speech rights the Founding Fathers installed with the Bill Of Rights.
BathTubBoy, before you shoot your mouth off about fascism in America again, read Jonah Goldberg's book "Liberal Fascism". It might give you some insight to fascism in America...If your open minded enough to actually read it, you might see things that remind you of you. I'm just saying.
Beauty.
But the best statement and response of the day? Even if these comments are a tad old (much like the left's arguments on everything) they still resonate well.

How on earth can you say that Iraq is better and safer by the removal of Sadam Hussein? The carnage and death toll say different, not to mention the lack now of health services, university education, freedom and the like. Iraq has gone from being a progressive country to a hell hole of mamoth proportions; due in the most part by the US invasion.

JD: So. You think that Iraq was "a progressive country" hmmm. During the last 50 years, the 130,000 Iraqi Jewish population has been eradicated. In the last 10 years, half of Iraq's Christian population eradicated. Bio/chem weapons were used on Kurds, Iranians, and the Shi'ites. I was in Israel in Feb 98 during an Iraqi bio/chem Scud scare. Shi'ite area marshes drained. One million Iranians killed in unsuccessful Iraqi attempt to occupy Iranian territory. Olympic athletes punished with torture. Abu Ghrab detainees tortured, electric shock of genitals, etc.; leaf and brush mulcher executions, deceased relatives recieved chopped body parts in plastic trash bags. Hussien family built dozens of palaces stocked with booze and porno. Kuaite occupied and annexed. 600 Kuaite POWs executed. Kuaite looted. Kuaite City Zoo animals tortured and killed. Iraqi torching of oil fields and Persian Gulf intentionally oil slicked by Hussien. Iraq rewarded Palestinians for the suicide murders of Israelis. Gays and raped women tortured and/or executed. Bio/chem weapons not destroyed as promised; but sent to Syria for future use. I watched the Iraqi attack on Saudi Arabia, Khafji, on TV, CNN. The present day violence in Iraq is the fault of Bathists and foriegn insurgent terrorists including Al Queda. JOHN? are you a progressive? (That's a stupid question.) You're the reason I'm not a progressive.
Why oh why does the left, throughout history, villify the rightous and honor the wicked?
