Band of Brothers Hefron Dead at 90
Immortalised in the book Band of Brothers by Stephen E. Ambrose and the HBO mini-series of the same name, Edward J. "Babe" Hefron has died at the age of 90 in a Stratford, NJ hospital.
Hefron was pre-deceased by his commanding officer, Major Richard Winters in January 2011.
May God bless these men and the rest of Easy Company as well as all those who served and protected liberty against the Nazi scourge.
