Thus It Begins
So now that the Republican primaries are almost over and we apparently have a GOP nominee sewed up, leave it to the MSM-especially the New York Times-to send their attack dogs on the one man left standing and the one GOP presidential nominee that will probably reach across the isle the most to try and "get things done" with the Democrats.
It seems the good people at the Traitor Times just simply cannot wait to get their claws into John McCain, despite his aforementioned "crossing the floor" performances with varying members of the DNC, not to mention his war hero status, his clean-as-a-whistle resume as a senator and all-round American civil servant. How will it take Frank Rich, Maureen Dowd, (how are they even professionally valid any more) et al to eviscerate the Arizona senator? Well, it didn't take NYT executive editor, Bill Keller too long to get the author of this little hit-piece, Elisabeth Bumiller, long to get get down in the mud and begin her lessons in the tabloid school of "journalism".
Of course, McCain denies this hogwash.
Keller, for his part, has attempted to prolong this non-story by defending the hit-piece on NPR's "All Things Considered".
Never mind other "much-ado-about-nothing" stories like Michelle Obama's "For the first time in my adult life, I'm proud of my country", a pass by the NYT editorial, op-ed staff; Bill Clinton's (correct) Obama-Jackson comparison (not that he should have been shredded by the Times for it, but if he was any Republican...)
Nope. Only because McCain has a (R) after his name. Plain and simple.
When oh when is anyone in the MSM going to deflate the tires on the campaign of the empty suit that is Barack Hussein Obama. They did it with Hillary and last summer they loved her. But oh wait, they want him as president. Never mind.
And the Times response? (among that from and of Newsbusters)

As the title of this post indicates, it's all just starting between McCain and the NYT.
