Investigation into DOJ Finds Possible Cover-Up Over Black Panther Voter Indimidation
The report says the DOJ's "lack of cooperation" raises questions about the government' decision to dismiss most charges against the anti-white fringe group who wore military clothing as they stood outside a polling place in a black Philadelphia neighborhood in November of 2008. The document says the department did not completely address "serious accusations" made by former DOJ staffer J. Christian Adams and Assistant U.S. Attorney Christopher Coates, the former chief of the Civil Rights Division Voting Section, about opposition in the DOJ to taking up voting rights cases against minorities.
The implications found within the 144 page report issued by the non-partisan U.S. Commission on Civil Rights regarding the investigations into the New Black Panther voter intimidation case from 2008 appears to strongly indicate a cover up initiated by figures within the Obama Department of Justice, and quite possibly the White House itself. Within the context of this cover up, are found accusations of intimidation and non compliance within the Department of Justice throughout the comprehensive investigation.

TSA v/s Patriot Act
But what I'm wondering is, where's the media and Congressional equivalence of Obama's TSA groping and scanning to Bush's "spying?"
Have you noticed, from Obama's thinking a White House window was a door, his "Corpsemen" and "fifty-seven states in America," comments, among many others; Katrina compared to the BP spill, his misquotes and assumptions and now the whole TSA "civil liberties" thing, no one has said one iodum about Obama taking away people's rights? How come there's been no mention of "Big Brother?"
Moreover, how come when interviewing TSA Administrator John Pistole. NBC's Matt Lauer fretted, "...I hate to even think of what happens if the government caves in on this, and relaxes these procedures, and someone manages to get something on board a plane and causes harm. Imagine the questions you'll be asked at that point."
No networks had such empathy for Bush and the Patriot Act. No one asked, "If someone detonates a bomb inside the U.S. after the Patriot Act was rescinded, I'd hate to think of the questions you'd have to answer then." Funny isn't it? So why all the concern for the Obama administration and its policies and none for Bush? Don't answer. We all know why, don't we?

DOJ "Pleased" at Ghailani Verdict
Of course, the Dept. of Justice under Obama and Eric Holder are "pleased" with the outcome. Yay! One conviction of conspiracy as opposed to 224 counts of premeditated murder. I wonder if they were "pleased" that only nearly 3000 people died on September 11, 2001 instead of potentially 50,000?
You know who else is pleased? Al Queda.
Pelosi Elected as House Minority Leader
More Voter Fraud Claims from the Left
How deep does the rabbit hole that is the whacked liberal mind go? Check this out. These people are nuts, really nuts.
They still go on about the Bush/Gore Florida recount (they even made a lefty slanted movie about it) and Bristol Palin potentially winning a dance contest, yet they have absolutely no problem with ACORN advocating voter fraud by using the names of dead people, fictional characters, and repeat multiple felons, not to mention advocating child prostitution and tax evasion or spoiled ballots being used to put the insane and violent Al Franken into the U.S. Senate.
Clearly Sgt. Schultz has gotten desperate for subject matter.
Biggest Racist Hypocrite on the Planet Wants to Threaten Stations Carrying Limbaugh
Lifish had fallen behind the procession when he attempted to continue through an intersection in an attempt to rejoin the group. Witnesses could not agree upon Lifsh’s speed and could not agree whether the light that Lifsh went through was yellow or red. Lifsh’s vehicle struck a car, and forced it to veer onto the sidewalk, knocking down a 600-pound stone building pillar, that hit a wall, and killed Cato. Angela was severely injured, but survived.
At the funeral of Cato, Sharpton made his racist feelings quite clear when he called the Jewish inhabitants of Brooklyn, ""diamond dealers" and commented "it's an accident to allow an apartheid ambulance service in the middle of Crown Heights." In addition, a banner displayed at the funeral read "Hitler did not do the job". Something Sharpton did not condemn.
Two weeks after the riots, Anthony Graziosi, an Italian sales representative with a white beard dressed in dark business attire, was driving in the neighborhood. As he stopped at a traffic light at 11 p.m., six blocks away from where Yankel Rosenbaum had been murdered, a group of four black men surrounded his car and one of them shot and killed him. It was alleged by Graziosi's family and their attorney, as well as Senator Al D'Amato, Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan, State Attorney General Robert Abrams, former Mayor Ed Koch, and a number of advocacy organizations, that Graziosi's resemblance to a hasidic Jew precipitated his murder. Although the New York police department, Mayor Dinkins, newspaper columnist Mike McAlary, and the U.S. Justice Department did not agree. Clearly all this was because of the fire fueled by Sharpton's racist and incendiary words.
What ultimately incited the murder of Rosenbaum and Graziosi? Well, take your pick of the vitriol that spewed out of the disgusting mouth of Sharpton. Something that he continues to do today, albeit with more low-tempered and calculated tactics.
If that wasn't enough, Sharpton was on the bandwagon of the Tawana Braley affair. In 1987, Brawley, 15, accused six white men, some of whom were police officers, of having raped her, including Dutchess County Assistant District Attorney, Steven Pagones. Brawley claimed she had been repeatedly raped by the men in a wooded area for several days, had been defecated on and had racist epithets written on her body and left unconscious in a garbage bag, but could provide no names or descriptions of her assailants. She later told others that there had been no rape, only other kinds of sexual abuse. Forensic tests found no evidence that a sexual assault of any kind had occurred. There was no evidence of exposure to elements, which would be expected in a victim held for several days in the woods at a time when the temperature dropped below freezing at night.
There were other discrepancies in Brawley's story. On the morning after the alleged abduction, she was seen entering the empty apartment at the Pavilion Apartments where she had once lived. Other witnesses claimed to have seen her at parties in a nearby town during the period when she was said to be missing. She had no bruises, contusions, scratches or other injuries except for a small bruise behind the left ear, which was determined to be several days old. One witness claimed to have seen her climb into the garbage bag in which she was found. Her mother, Glenda Brawley, was spotted at the apartment complex shortly before Brawley was seen getting into the garbage bag. The mother waited until that same afternoon to report Brawley as missing to the police. The investigation turned up evidence that indicated damage done to Brawley's clothing had occurred in the apartment. According to the grand jury report, all of "the items and instrumentalities necessary to create the condition in which Brawley appeared on Saturday, November 28, were present inside of or in the immediate vicinity of Apartment 19A." The feces had come from a neighbor's dog.
Under the authority of New York State Attorney General Robert Abrams, a grand jury was called to hear evidence. On October 6, 1988, the Abrams Grand Jury released its 170-page report concluding Brawley had not been abducted, assaulted, raped and sodomized, as had been claimed by Brawley and her advisers. The report further concluded that the "unsworn public allegations against Dutchess County Assistant District Attorney Steven Pagones" were false and had no basis in fact. To issue the report, the Grand Jury heard from 180 witnesses, saw 250 exhibits and recorded more than 6,000 pages of testimony.
In the decision, the grand jury noted many problems with Brawley's story. Among these were that the rape kit results did not indicate sexual assault. Also, despite her claim of having been held captive for days, Brawley was not suffering from exposure, was well nourished, and appeared to have brushed her teeth recently. Despite her clothing being charred, there were no burns on her body. Although a shoe she was wearing was cut through, Brawley had no injuries to her foot. The racial epithets written on her were upside down, which led to suspicion that Brawley wrote the words. Testimony from her schoolmates indicated she had attended a local party during the time of her supposed abduction. One witness claimed to have observed Brawley climbing into the garbage bag. Brawley herself never testified and her and her mother still maintain their story contrary to all the evidence against it.
As for Sharpton, he was convicted of libelous of the six men involved, but had donations from supporters pay for the outcome. He has never apologized for either incidents.
Sources of both of these incidents can be found at Wikipedia.org and several books and newspaper articles on the subjects. The exact references can be found at the bottom of the pages of said stories.
The reason for this over-drawn-out history of Sharpton's blatant racism is simply to show his "talent" for getting involved in racially-charged cases that either he shares responsibility in or is quick to judge someone else that he was and is in fact guilty of himself.
Now he has the tenacity to call for the censoring or all-out removal of someone from the airwaves of radio and/or television because he sees fit. Moreover, shame on those who even allow this blatant racist any airtime whatsoever. He has ruined people's careers and reputations, yet with all the evidence against him, the MSM continues to defend him and his ugly past.
Disgusting fraud are simply not a big enough words.

Two Dems Claim Arianna Huffington Stole Idea For HuffPo
But apparently The Huffington Post was not Arianna Huffington's idea. Not at all shocking considering her history of dishonesty. No wonder it hasn't been profitable until this year. Since most start-up businesses don't show a profit until the third or fourth year, she can't be totally blamed for it's financial showing, but I can't help but wonder if anyone else with a shred of journalistic integrity and business acumen would have helped speed things along.

What or how will his buddies in Congress deal with him now? A slap on the wrist, which is likely or will they rightfully throw him under the bus and leve him to deal with his "shame?" Most likely the latter, due to this point in the story...
"But Rangel, 80, is certainly not expected to lose his job. The silver-haired 20-term veteran, known for his gravelly voice, sense of humor and sartorial splendor, is still beloved by many of his House colleagues. And in the lame-duck session, Democrats still hold the majority."

Disgusting! Anti-Capitalist Morons Strike Again

Excellent post by a commentor,

Liberal bureaucrats don't seem to have a problem with that type of capitalism."
Once Again Maddow Is Full of It
Over at JohnnyDollar, a comprehensive list of FOX criticisms of the Bush administration should show people like Maddow (and to Stewart as well as they were in complete agreement of this falicy) that FOX criticized and continues to criticize the Bush administration and the Republican Party when warranted, unllike the actual water-carriewrs for the Democrats over at MSNBC.
NewsBusters has a few as well (including the aforementioned O'Reilly criticisms)
It's not as if this proof of Maddow's shoddy research and all out deception will change any minds on the most of the close-minded and easily persudaed left, but just to show the casual reader that Maddow and her ilk have a clear agenda and don't care for the truth as much as they claim otherwise.
So just in one or two links provided, Maddow once again is exposed as a sub-par "journalist" and a liar. And Shame on Jon Stewart for letting her gert away with it, when he clearly knows better.

How Muslims Honor Veterans in England
A few of the signs...
"Afghanistan: The graveyard of empires"
"Our dead are in paradise. Your dead are in Hell"
"British soldiers burn in Hell"
And of course,
"Behead those who insult Islam"
Ah, those misunderstood, proud, hateful, murderous, radical, young Muslims. They're so peaceful. How can anyone label them as anything other than perveyours of peace? That darn Islamophobia has gotten a hold of all of us foolish Westerners. Maybe we all need to be forced into sensitivity training so we're even more docile and ignorant of their intentions.
Name That Party
Dennis Miller Tears Pelosi A New One On Leno to the Delight of Pro Military Crowd
House Democrats Push the Black Guy to the Back of the Bus
Via Ace of Spades...
You just knew it was coming. Nancy refuses to fall on her sword for the mid-term tidal wave, so someone in the Democratic leadership was going to be left without a real job. Shockingly, it's Jim Clyburn, the top ranking black member in the Democratic House leadership.
House Democrats have reached a deal to keep both Reps. Steny Hoyer and James Clyburn in the leadership, with Hoyer (D-Md.) serving as minority whip and Clyburn (D-S.C) taking a new, as-yet-still-undefined number three position.
Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calf.) who is seeking the minority leader's job in the next Congress, reached an agreement with Clyburn on late Friday night, and Democratic leaders quickly announced the deal.
Clyburn's title and responsibilities were not specified in the announcement from Pelosi's office, and Democratic leadership aides scrambled to explain the deal to reporters.
No title, no identified responsibilities? But it'll be super seriously important!
It's funny how everyone took a step down in leadership except the number 4 guy, John Larson who is the caucus chair. When push comes to shove, who gets the squeeze? Clyburn. He's the guy the Democrats are going to knock out of his job? Not Pelosi or Hoyer?
But hey, Democrats are keeping up appearances and that's what counts.
A source close to Clyburn said one of his "primary concerns was maintaining a diversity in leadership that reflected" the makeup the Democratic Caucus. More than one-fifth of House Democrats will be CBC members in the 112th Congress, making it one of the most powerful bloc of votes from Democratic leaders.
This source added that "a significant number of members withheld their support for either candidate because they did not want the whip contest to come to a vote."
"This solution honors the diversity of the caucus as well as the wishes of a majority of the caucus that he remain number three in leadership," the source said.
As of late last night, not everyone in the CBC was thrilled with the idea of Clyburn losing a substantive position for...well, whatever this new job is.
And yet blacks will vote for Democrats at a rate of 95-98%.
Keep in mind, that Democrats are going to be in the minority and that means less money and fewer stafffers. Now, to keep the band together they have to divide those already limited resources among even more offices.
Now, do I really think race is that big of a factor in this? It might be but who knows. The main thing is Democrats are the ones always going on about minority empowerment and yet when push comes to shove...who gets a fancy new title and no responsibility? Why it's almost like the mean racists in the GOP are running the House Democratic caucus or something.
Yes the GOP may wind up tossing Michael Steele out of office but let's be honest, we won big this year in spite of him, not because of him. Also, Republicans aren't about keeping score on skin color, we hold people to account on performance and let's be honest, Steele has left quite a bit to be desired on that front.
I've seen absolutely no complaining in the MFM about Clyburn getting the racial shaft but I bet if Steele gets the boot or even a serious challenge, they'll be plenty of stories about how Republicans hate blacks.
Such is the reality of our "objective" media.
Added: I really wondered whether this post was over the top in terms of racial language. My main point is that Democrats talk one way on race relations when it comes to Republicans and act another way in their own choices.
Any doubt I had about the appropriateness of my attack was dispelled when I saw this. According to Chris Matthews and two Democratic congresswomen the real racist in this situation is...Rush Limbaugh.
I'm sick and tired of the MFM double standard.
Interesting tidbit within the post that I entirely agree with,
"Yes the GOP may wind up tossing Michael Steele out of office but let's be honest, we won big this year in spite of him, not because of him. Also, Republicans aren't about keeping score on skin color, we hold people to account on performance and let's be honest, Steele has left quite a bit to be desired on that front.
I've seen absolutely no complaining in the MFM about Clyburn getting the racial shaft but I bet if Steele gets the boot or even a serious challenge, they'll be plenty of stories about how Republicans hate blacks."
That's pretty much a given. I mean how many stories did you read about how the GOP put a black man as their Chair? I mean any that didn't use the word "token?"
It's simply amazing how these people continually get away with this.
P-R-O-J-E-C-T-I-O-N.
Another Obama Flip?
"The administration asserts that it can hold Mohammed and other al-Qaeda operatives under the laws of war, a principle that has been upheld by the courts when Guantanamo Bay detainees have challenged their detention."
Isn't that what Bush said when challenged by the left and even some Republicans? Once again, it's a matter of if you're a liberal, you never have to say you're sorry.
I can't say I disagree with the president on this one. Personally, I'd like to see the fat bastard burn in hell after a public execution, maybe even on Pay-Per-View. Imagine the buy-rates to that one.
If they never try this guy and he rots in Guantanamo until the day he croaks is fine with me. I'm sure they've gotten all the information they're going to get out of the guy that they're going to, so really, what's the point in keeping him around? To show how lenient and righteous the American justice system is, or to show how feckless it can be with all it's seemingly gaping loopholes? Especially for those who wish to do America harm.
To re-iterate the last point in the story,
"Regardless of whether this decision to do nothing results from political pusillanimity or a temper tantrum over the rejection of their policy on KSM, the result is both hypocritical and useless. We have military commissions for a reason, and had Obama not interfered in the process that had been repeatedly authorized by Congress, KSM’s case would have been adjudicated long ago. Instead, it appears we are on track for wasting four more years instead of just the past two because we have a Chief Executive who can’t bear to have himself proven wrong."

Well it's come up again in a good piece from HotAir.com's Laura Curtis.
Left and Right Agree: Obama Blew It at the G-20

The man's allies are dropping like flies. I almost feel sorry for him.
Arianna Huffington Acuses Bush of Plagiarism
Arianna Huffington, the founder of the irrelevant and misleading Huffington Post and who has been charged with (and settled out of court for) plagiarism herself multiple times dons her mask of hypocrisy once again to spit at the former president.
Nevermind that she has absolutely no business in accusing anyone of plagiarism when no body guilty of a crime who isn't looking at a long-term jail sentence doesn't admit to it, but this woman has been thoroughly debunked and embarrassed every time she spouts on an opinion on just about everything she gripes about. This one is no different.
I know it's patently obvious by now, but this woman has absolutely no shame. And really no purpose in the political world.

MSNBC Suspends Olbermann Indefinitely
Hmm. CNN fires Rick Sanchez and now The Mess suspends Olberloon. Do ya think these liberal havens of hyperbole are actually coming to their senses and realizing their ratings tell a serious story? I mean this might be a sign that they're getting more balanced in their coverage and actually becoming real news *snicker*...ah man, I almost did that with a straight face.
Add this to The Mess's pathetic shill-fest for the Democrats that they called election coverage on Tuesday and it really leaves no doubt to their mission over there. Maybe they should look into the rest of Tuesday's partisan panel and see who and what they've been contributing to. Do you doubt for one second that Rachel Madow, Chris Matthews or the completely unhinged Lawrence O'Donnell didn't do the same?
But really, I wonder if Olbermann, when he gets back from his involuntary vacation, will resume his "Worst Person in the World" segment and add Griffin to the list? Well, him and the American people for handing a spanking to the Democrats.
Finally, as a commenter on the Moonbattery site so eloquently put it..."I find it humorous that MSNBC thinks it's totally acceptable for Olbermann to call conservatives racist, hate-mongers, homophobes, religious bigots and idiots...no suspension there...but for THIS, he's out."

Midterm Election Results
CNN, FOX and MSNBC
For updated results, simply just refresh the pages.
Oh, and did I mention WOO HOO! Nancy Pelosi will no longer be the Speaker of the House due to the Republicans, as expected, taking the House of Representatives. Unfortunately the people of Nevada seem to think that Harry Reid is still fit for office. As for any class shown by Pelosi (such as perhaps a congradulatory nod to the GOP) forgetaboutit. Unlike the president.
Reid's supporters said that Angle was "too dangerous and unfit to lead." And Reid isn't? This is the guy that gave al Queda in Iraq a huge morale boost by stating "This was is lost," thereby putting thousands of American and allied troops lives in jeopardy before President Bush's successful troop surge turned things around and won the war.
Then again....I'm just sayin'.
And, I'm sorry, but you people in California that voted to keep Barbara Boxer in are fools. Plain and simple. Do you all work for her or what? The same with you poor souls in Massachusetts that voted to keep Barney Frank around. The only thing I can think of is that you either don't know he almost single-handedly destroyed the housing market and in the process brought on an economic collapse costing millions of jobs or you just don't care. In which case, there's no hope for you anyways.
But as for whether or not this will help or hurt President Obama in getting any new policies through? Well, obviously he can't just shove it down the throats of Americans anymore. Now he has a Republican-held House to deal with (which I'm sure he's just ecstatic about) he has to actually answer to the will of the people. I know, a pretty radical idea for him. But it didn't hurt Bill Clinton in 1996 when he ran for re-election.
In fact, because of the 1994 "Republican Revolution," it made Clinton go from the hard left to a center-left policy position. The result? More people respected his decisions and policies and because of that he was granted a second term in office. If Obama can get over himself and his narcissism, decides he can work with the Republicans instead of blaming George W. Bush and FOX News for all his woes, then maybe, just maybe he can save his legacy.

It's Time!!
Awesome Point
But the point of this post is to show you once again the ongoing hypocrisy of not only the DNC, but the MSM as well.
A great catch was made by the administrator of FreeRepublic.com and posted on Moonbattery. The gist is if the media is so concerned about the lack of diversity in the Tea Party (so much so that they're ready to label the movement racist because they have mostly white members in a predominantly white country-duh!) why doesn't The Mess and the MSM with all their crying about phony racism take the Democrat Party in California (where caucasians are in the minority) to task for their "racism?" The same goes for Sgt. Schultz's and Jon Stewart's rallies. They were mostly all male and white too. Zip from the likes of Olberloon, Chris Tingle, Madcow
Yeah, I am still going to carry forward with the "hatred" and name calling. Because quite simply after Stewart apologizes to Sarah Palin, Bernie Goldberg and FOX News for telling them to "F**K Off!" and to go "F**k Yourself!" "respectively," before telling other people to stop the madness and name-calling, then I might listen to him.
Obama the Community Organizer-The Muppet Version
But using that resume for the presidency is pretty much showed here when he finally moved into the White House and found not only was he inexperienced and immediately over his head, but that the inmates were running the asylum and that he has never really been in control and never really been an effective and inspiring leader.
They say Sarah Palin wasn't qualified to be president. Fair enough. But with her being a Mayor and Governor of Alaska. How in the world was Obama more qulified than her? She even had more executive experience than John McCain. Obama was the guy who brought the potato salad to the picnic!
And no, like this video, I doubt there will be a happy ending for America's resident "king."

The Evidence Just Keeps Piling Up
Between this and alleged early voter fraud by the Dems in Nevada, how can anyone dispute that not only are they full of it, are total liars and hypocrites and are just sooooo desperate, but their allies in the filthy lefty media just aren't even trying to hide it anymore.
And of course you have people like Charles Johnson of Little Green Footballs, who I guess is no longer an Islamophobist since his turn to the Looney Left (all those posts about radical Muslims are apparently no longer true since he "saw the light," which is undoubtedly the front of the oncoming train wreck that is Liberalism) which has to be the perfect example of reversal of evolution; who is trying his darnedest now in defending the actions of these "journalists." Is anybody really surprised that Jerry Bever, KTVA's General Manager is claiming that this is (drum roll) "out of context?"
“It’s unfortunate that this recording has happened. It’s unfortunate because it does not accurately reflect the journalistic standards of our newsroom and the garbled context will no doubt leave more questions than answers. The Miller campaign’s analysis of the recording is incorrect in many material ways ranging from personnel involved in the conversation, the interpretation of conversation snippets and the reported transcript of the perceived garbled conversation.
While the recording is real, the allegations are untrue. The recording was the result of a cell phone not being hung up after a call was placed to Randy DeSoto, Joe Miller campaign spokesperson, Thursday afternoon to discuss Joe Miller’s appearance on that evening’s newscast. That phone call was placed near the end of a coverage planning meeting in our newsroom regarding that evening’s Miller rally in downtown Anchorage. The group of KTVA news personnel was reviewing potential “what-if” scenarios, discussing the likelihood of events at the rally and how KTVA might logistically disseminate any breaking news.
The perception that this garbled, out of context recording may leave is unfortunate, but to allege that our staff was discussing or planning to create or fabricate stories regarding candidate Miller is absurd. The complete conversation was about what others might be able to do to cause disruption within the Miller campaign, not what KTVA could do.”
I told you.
Quick question, if the motives of these reporters aren't nefarious in the least, or if they don't wish to see any harm to Miller's campaign, why are they heard laughing at any conceivable scandals that may come his way?
Same Old Dishonesty from the Huffington Post and CBS
While most honest estimations put the crowd turnout of Glenn Beck's August "Restoring Honor" at 300,000; CBS and The very liberal Huffington Post blog have twisted and spun the turnout for Jon Stewart's pretty admirable and mostly bipartisan to have "obliterated" the numbers that turned out for Beck's.
HuffPo still deemed it necessary to blatantly lie about the number of people that attended both rallies. Now although Stewart's numbers were more comparable to those of Beck's, Arianna Huffington and her crew, remember, deemed it necessary to embellish the pathetic turnout by Sgt. Ed Schultz's "One Nation"rally, in the process making a mockery of the democratic process of lawful assembly. Pretty much exactly the opposite of what Stewart's rally was about and exactly what he has been trying to get across to Americans.
It seems that Ms. Huffington's credibility has run it's course.
A Good Parable of Teaching the Failures of Socialism
Now even though this seemingly is a false story (and as such against my better judgment to re-print it) it shows how university kids can be indoctrinated enough through the media to believe, despite history showing it's multitude of failures, that Socialism can be a success:
An economics professor at Texas Tech said he had never failed a single student before but had, once, failed an entire class. That class had insisted that socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer. The professor then said ok, we will have an experiment in this class on socialism. All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A.
After the first test the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. But, as the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too; so they studied little…
The second test average was a D! No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around the average was an F. The scores never increased as bickering, blame, name calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else. All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great; but when government takes all the reward away; no one will try or want to succeed. Could not be any simpler than that....
Snopes has investigated it and found it to be of "legend" status.
Nevertheless a good lesson in economics.
Carter Off His Meds...Again
The man is off the reservation.
Fast forward 20 years and we have former president, Smilin' Jimmy Carter, in all his dementia (because really, what else could it be?) is claiming that FOX News is "...totally biased, and they implant completely false images not only of the facts about legislation that’s passed or doesn’t get passed, but also about the character of President Obama. (Not true. And not unlike MSNBC-which he gladly visits and fails to recognize their short-comings) And they’ve been successful in projecting him as a person who is not a citizen of America...So I think they have completely twisted around what he has done, what he has accomplished, and his own personal character to his detriment. It's a small portion of the total news media."
That gets the most ratings on cable, Jimmy.
So it's not the out-of-control spending, not the push for cap and trade, not the very unpopular Health Care law that was forcefully and spitefully shoved down the throats of Americans, despite any minor success stories that Obama can quote and certainly not the partisan and hateful or misleading comments of Democrats towards Republicans (not to mention voters who support said Republicans; e.g "tea baggers," "astroturfers," etc) and not the polls that show Obama's numbers plummeting, it's because all FOX's fault, all the time.
These old and irellevant Dems sure need a new playbook, don't they? It's also pretty shameful of the liberal media to exploit the old man like this. They'll try anything in the name of trying to save their ratings and the left-wing narrative.
